Fantastic game, really takes me back to the old days. I think the badge seems to be broken as I got to level 4, watched a video, couldn't get past that. Seems to be the end of the game for now. But the 'Sudo Unlock Badge' isn't showing my level progress. Is reaching level 4 in the game the same as reaching level 11 for the badge?

ok, but the last puzzles were disappointingly similar. also i can't go back and see what the sixth hint was without replaying the game.

Just opened game, first thing I notice: only a hard badge... if you finish the 10th level.
...10 levels only? and it's a hard badge? oh, good... this will be a bloodbath

A really splendid little game. You don't see many like it, certainly not this well thought through or with the 'outside of the box' element (possible spoiler ;-)

The one thing I would change is this: make it more clear that you're supposed to use outside resources. I got stuck on the Tribune one because I thought all the answers were in the game. Fantastic game, though, especially with the implementation of outside resources. It's great :)

I dunno, I GET the idea behind forcing us to actually know or look up things to progress in this type of game, but it's not really difficult to do that, annoying if nothing else. it is in fact, EASY to do, but just adds an aggravating extra step.

great game, kinda hoped I didnt have to look outside the game for hints to certain stuff cuz I ended up overthinking things. like the news paper thing and the level 11 hints but it was still fun to play. also reminded me of linux OS bonus points for that

Definitely one of the best puzzle games I've played on Kongregate. I spent over an hour playing, and I would have gladly played several more hours if they were available!

HOLY SH!T!!!! google searched Chicago Tribune, 8/13/61. turned to page 23. there it was. right there. literally a thing. Giving you a 5 star just for that.

This game is worth a hard badge? It was a great game, and I very much enjoyed it but not sure if it's a hard badge necessarily.... oh well, I'll enjoy my 30 points lol, have fun everyone

I love the fact that going to the Chicago times archive page the top searched result was August 13 1961 Page 23. That was awesome! Great game. It has been a long time since I have gotten this into a puzzle game.

An easy 5/5 rating. Loved the game! Some puzzles was moderatly difficult before realising you had to use the internet to solve them. Great game! :)

this game reminds me of "hack NET" series on iphones. it uses same concept. but anyway: great game, i am really excited about other parts

Wow! The scenario, the puzzles, the game play, all of this is the work of a true genius!!!!! Moreover the dev reads our comments in order to add asked features like a scroll bar... Oh my gosh, I absolutely want the next part. Where can I tip / fund / kickstart it?

use google for whatever you don't know.
nice interactive game but after realising the thing about google, everything got easier.

After turning the power on, I didn't get the end video. Just a strange screen. So I reloaded and played the last level once more, and there it was. The puzzles were quite easy, including the newspaper. Before entering the game, you're asked to use your computer to solve the puzzles, so using the internet became kind of obvious. I got stuck on the bible verse though, as I found a site with a different version of the bible. I had to figure out the problem of different bible versions before getting that one right. Great game, very intuitive. Some spellings were strange, like Peter O'Brian calling himself Peter O'Brien. Truly loved the game, wish it was longer. Wish it was possible to copy text from the game into my notepad file as I made my own walkthrough while playing it.
:)

Nice game. Few improvement ideas 1) Tab autocomplete 2) Ability to move cursors to fix typos. That newspaper puzzle was clever and fun, but it might get broken for obvious reasons. All in all, 5*

I'm not sure whether this game is so easy or my way of thinking is similar to the authors' and it just seems so - but it's very nice anyway and at least there was no frustration over "What the hell did the author mean by that?". As someone already mentioned, great mix of in-game and real life riddles. Very deserved 5/5. Um, but what about those radio frequencies mentioned in Updates section (as "Updated")? Did I miss something?
