Winning strategy: Sell shoes and leather in the starting region until you're stupid rich, then buy another donkey or trade your first for a mule. Use the left over money to buy the M1 and the .44 S&W and hire a second gun. Head north, buy assault rifles (Cx4 if you want to be super cheap). Spend a bit of time in there, build up experience, maybe hire a third man when you can afford it. Once you go past Merdin or Okaidi you'll start running into huge bandit gangs (10+ with cars and military weaponry) so be ready. If you can reliably take those guys, the rest of the game will be a cakewalk.

@ETV2 I'm not sure, but I think if it has manual recock it is 4 ap quick and 5 ap aimed, whereas semiautomatic recock is 2 ap quick and 3 ap aimed, recock is showned at the bottom of the gun stats when you buy it, once again, I am not sure, but this is what I think.

What would be useful is either a page with weapon modes and AP Costs, or to implement another statistic into the game (or for caravaneer 2) so you can see how much AP it costs to shoot the gun, and for other firing modes; also so far agility and intelligence almost exactly like in the fallout series is kinda OP, 10 Agility means you can fire off all shots of your M1 Garand or springfield in a single turn of combat, mix that in with intelligence and your sniping also goes up quite fast and you turn into a badass super sniper who can take out around 4-5 People by his lonesome, if you find companions with a decent agility and intelligence mix (say 6/6 Min) those are incredibly good companions to just equip with bolt action rifles, or even a browning hi-power (only costs 2 AP Per shot, 13 rounds).

if desert patrol is destroyed it still says when you attack a caravan that you are a criminal and that desert patrol will destroy you fail

soz and plus ur right about qubba u should get a artic cat in verdammter platz or somewhere just before cause then u can dodge most of the police on the way

stop "helping" so far all of your comments have been minused because you have like 50 of them and it's annoying. btw, he's wrong about qubba, you should go there if you have a lot of money; once you make it to qubba with ~50 grand you can buy some cars and easily dodge the police.

each point of strength gives you 3kg more capacity you have to have atleast 4 points of strength to get over 10 strength which is 1,2and 3 points of strength

make an online version where caravans are different players and there is alwaysd a replenishment of people because then u can team up on the same routes with other people

american arms brittany is a good shotgun becasuse its light and will easily despatch of anybody in melee range in 1 or 2 shots

get shotguns early on for despatching robber bands armed with melee so that if they come close you pull out your shotgun and do one-shot-kill

try and standardise your weopons so you need only 2 types of ammo:1 for primary guns(assault rifles or machine guns) and 1 type of ammo for secondary(preferably shotguns or high damage pistols)

at okaida regularly upgrade your armoury so your guys all have standard bulletproof vest and assault rifles save up $50,000 and then do the desert patrol mission

although people advise you to use melee weopons as soon as you can the robbers will quickly overpower you if they have high ap

get assault rifles as soon as possible otherwise you will eventually meet a robber band armed with them and most of the time they kill 1-3 of ur guys

I just realized that while the other presets have 25 points to play with, Selma Nilsson only gets 23 stat points. I'm not gonna call out any racism or anything like that since she's the only girl this happens to, but I think she should still get two stat points somewhere.

dont go near qubba otherwise the police take all ur cash then u have no more cash to give the remaining police so they end up killing you for no reason

agility and strength are the best things as theres no other way to change ur walking speed or capacity to hold weopons while accuracy and intelligence increase things whichn increase with experience in them anyway

if you get killed by robbers at the start your either getting rid of your good weps your going to close to them or you forget about ammo: in which case its all your fault

once u have enough cash get guys with good amjount of strength and agility buy rifles for them and if u have enough after that buy shotguns for close range combat

dont buy endless amounts of bottles just to hold 20l when u can spend much less for a lighter and much more usable water jerry can

Awesome game with a high replayability. I still play it sometimes (even downloaded it lol) to get some AP and sniper skills when i'm bored :D
And i can assure u guys that in the battle screen the most important thing is AP (recently got mine to 101...yes, i play since a long time ago -_-)
Little tip: until you get a decent sniper skill (something around 120 or more), using a sniper is very useful so you almost never miss even with a lower aiming level.
And if you stopped playing because you always die in the first trip [by robbers], Agility and Phys. Shape are useful in these cases...

Great game, 5/5 and favorited only thing that I would do differently is add a little marker or something on the map showing where you are.
