How do you use medicines to heal yourself? The men in my caravan use them just fine, but I do not know how to get them to work on my own character

Absolutely amazing game, possibly the best flash game I've ever played. With that out of the way, there are some quite annoying bugs: autopay and medicine use getting reset every time you load, getting attacked by robbers you can't see (or sometimes "robbers" that are actually Desert Patrol and make you enemies with them). Also an auto-resolve for easy fights and an autosave would be nice.

any chance for an auto resolve option for combat? Killing robbers takes way too much time even in the simplest battles. Even something really crude would be a big help.

Nice idea. Needs a better visual and some simple instructions, though. Overall I enjoyed it until I got the medium badge, but without a hard or impossible badge I´m not going to keep playing.

I can honestly say this is by far one of the best flash games on the web... The detail (not graphic but gameplay detail) is astronomical, and the playing time is pretty much infinite... not to mention the 4 different modes of playing
I downloaded it from the main site to finish the story mode, then found out about the badge here on kongregate (do'h), but anyway, i have some suggestions - 1. MAKE MORE BADGES - there has to be some harder and more in-depth badges for a game as complex as this..... 2. the badge that is there... ermm... is not medium... its easy - easy for anyone who's played the game for ages that is.
Anyway... i cant really give it a score... because it would be an isult to compare this game with most of the ones on kongregate... A true revolutionary masterpiece of the flash industry!!

reminiscent of Fallout by structure, plot and feel. I got stuck in a town where I thought I would be able to buy food for the animals only to find myself stuck, though it was somewhat entertaining to simply play 'bandit hunter'.

I loved this game! I tihink it sould have an auto save too since i keep frogetting to save and then have to start all over again :( I'm at the part where i need to beat the army. Anyone have any idea how many i have to defeat before leaving the rest to the desert patro? Also, whats the max str you can have?

After lots of play time, I felt it necessary to re-rate this game to 4/5. The issue: too many repetitive battles. Problem: there seems to be an overpopulation of bandits living off of scraps and 1 gallon of water per 10 members of the bandit group. For a game that relies heavily on numbers and planning, something could be done about making the bandit population more "realistic."

Loads of smart people playing this ^_^. Anyway... the army regiments is a really tight slap. It isn't easy. It is a HUGE CLIMB in difficulty. As far as I know, this means you need to train up.

great game, fighting robbers isnt necessary at all if you dont kill any caravans and take the right path with the desert patrol

Crashes to often, but great game.
Fighting in the end game is not neccesary as long as you are faster than the enemy :)

The first half of the game is absolutely great but the end-game is not well designed and has various bugs that make it impossible to play after some time (~20 consecutive battles, rockets getting unloaded and you go into battle with your guys empty). Anyway, if you decide to play this game I suggest you never get more than 6-7 henchmen because not only the robbers will adapt (and be a lot more) but the battles will last 30 minutes each and be constant.
