Okaidi needs over 3000 liters of alcohol a month. Okaidi has a population of 223 people. If I did the math right, that's 3 liters of alcohol per day for everyone. No wonder running booze is so profitable, everyone is an alcoholic.

Still a favorite after 5 years. Only things that drag it down for me is 1) the fact that the AI doesn't decipher between a hopeless attack and a reasonable attack, and 2) the fact that my army now seems invincible due only to grenades and vastly greater AP. However, building up my army to this point has been a great deal of fun and annihilating dozens of kamikaze samurai with rocket launchers, machine guns, sniper rifles, and.... grenades, grenades, grenades has been a LOT of fun!!! 5/5

I found towns wealth collapsed after i sold them hundreds of jewelry with price 4,2k per unit. Because of it, they sold it back to me with price 700 per unit. I made millions from it, but the town can't buy or sell anything with normal price anymore, they only trade with minimal price. It happens everywhere except Qubba.
I also found Diep Gat and Verdammter Platz stop their production of crude oil when i bought all of fuel they have, and the worst effect is Hara also stop their production of fuel because they lost the crude oil supply. The funny thing is, i found 56k barrel of crude oil stuck at Qubba...

probably a little late, but here are a couple of suggestions to improve the sequel: 1. agility + accuracy is too overpowered; a little balance would be nice. 2. The ability to autofight or escape ridiculously easy fights would be awesome; there are way too many minor battles which are completely uneventful and bog the game down (not really a major criticism, as this is probably my favorite game of all time, but it would be nice).

i have played this game all the way through probably 10 times, and here I am again. Can't wait for #2! If it's even as good as this one it'll be the best game in internet history.

im a LITTLE confused, i bought a horse, a bunch of food, and water, and forage. Horses go 15 Kmh, and i thought i could zoom by towns and such... but i went only 5 kmh, and then i got dogpiled by Robbers.... shouldnt i ride thr horse and go much faster? or do i have to walk by its side, slowing the Caravan's speed down?

Challanges, if you have finished the storyline:
1.: Try to make your way to Quabba, and earn a million dollars, without taking the inheritance. A lot of phisical shape, and agility recommended.
2.: Make an extremely weak character (every skill point is 1), and try to beat the Desert patrol storyline. You will be really slow, and with that 2 AP you will be even unable to punch. You will need a lot of luck, or hire tons of bodyguards, or you will die.
Can you beat them?

Also, if you want to make it SLIGHTLY more easy on yourself, but still harder, follow my prior comment, but allow yourself to buy Oxen and keep the water bottles you get from the Sheriff.

To me, the game has started to get a bit too easy, so I developed this way to make it a bit harder - Rules: When you start the game and talk to the sheriff, blow all the money he gives you, and drop everything you have, so you start with NOTHING. You are not allowed to have any companions. The only animals you are allowed to purchase are Camels. You may not purchase cars or carts. (Cars, Carts, and other animals may be looted, but not purchased.) This makes the game both harder at the start, and it adds quite a few hours of playtime.

The creator of this ran an Indiegogo for the 2nd game a bit back, he's hoping to have it out by November of this year last time I checked.

5. Raise at least 4 or 5 million dollars so you have some leftover to hire more people, pay salary to your crew, and buy weapons for the attack. Once you raise enough, go back to John and he will prepare his army to attack. You will need to wait 72 hours so he can get it ready. When he is ready make sure you have at least 16-25 People in your crew armed with PLENTY of explosive weaponry, (Mainly RPGs) Bullet guns help well, but make sure you have more Rocketeers and Grenadiers in your group. You will then have to defend the 5 DP Army Regiments all the way to Qubba against the government’s defending regiments. So far that’s as long as I made it, so use this guide to progress well with the Desert Patrol. Have fun joining the DP and kicking the government’s azz. If you have any questions just post any question to me.

4. He only has 1 copy, so he can’t give it to you unless you have an even better thing to trade. Go back to John and he will give you a book which is quite valuable to military book collectors, so you can trade for the manual. Once you get the manual from Diep Gat, go back to Fort Goks and enter the base, so you can get to the missle operation controls. Read Chapter 3 in the manual and type in the following in the following order: Select All (press enter) Execute Protocol41 (press enter) it will then ask you yes or no, type in y (yes). The missles will then launch in mid-air and self-destruct after you leave the base and Fort Goks, which will be in the news. Go back to Verdammte Platz and talk to John who will congratulate you for getting rid of those missles. He will then say it it time to attack the government (Qubba) but will need army funds of 5 Million Dollars. They currently have 2 Million, so you will have to raise 3 more million for the fund.

3. Unfortunately, you need a dumb pass to get in, so she’ll try to get you one, which she will in 24 hours. IF you can’t make it on time, you will have to wait 24 more hours. When you get the pass you will have to get your face printed on it, for the pass has another guy’s on it. She will tell you where to find the counterfeiter (In Smerd) whom will get your false pass fixed up for 100K :(. You will have to wait 24 more hours for he has to make it. Afterwards give him the money and QUICKLY get back to Fort Goks before the deadline of 2 days and talk to the operative or else she will be arrested and you’ll have to try again. Once you enter the base you’ll have to acquire a missles operation manual, which you don’t have at the time being…. Just go back to Verdammter Platz and talk to John who will tell you of some retired general whom has such a manual in Diep Gat. Go there and speak with him and tell him you’re a collector who needs that manual to complete his/her collection.
