The way the maps are is to copy real maps. Think Rand-McNally, rather than GPS. a paper map doesn't tell you where you are, just how to get from one place to another.

Variation on the ending: defeat the army regiments and attack the last Desert Patrol platoon before it enters Qubba. Now there are no army, police, or desert patrol. Now you can become a caravan raider, without the hassle ;)

A good game overall.
I think it would be great if you added sort of a minimap in the battle screen, so you can tell where are the bad guys coming from.

Great strategic game. I think it should autosave whenever u go into a town and give u a little more options for things to buy and sell at the start. I think their should be a saddle item u can buy for your animals so you can ride them and go faster.

The game is great! The only complaint I have (and it's moderately large) is the spawning system. Having half of your guys spawn right next to the bazooka-wielding bad guys and then loosing half your guys is EXTREMELY annoying. I would suggest a placement system, where you can place your people no more than 3 or 4 squares away from vehicles or animals

Amazing game and very addictive. I agree it needs an autosave feature, like at every town. The game is just difficult enough to not be impossible but still provide a challenge to progressing through the story mode. The economies seem to change very quickly and I still have a hard time keeping up with it even using an excel spread sheet that tracks Production/Need/Surplus/Buyprice/Sellprice. Definitely a great game if you have plenty of time to play and use some logic to make a strategy for trading.

Great game minus the ungodly number of times I am attacked by robbers. Really took away from the game when I was being stopped so often. I understand that they are out there, but it was just overkill to me. Now I have to start over and play again. Yeah, it is still a lot of fun. I should have mentioned that first. Good job! :)

The writing, especially in the intro screen, really needs some work. But otherwise I'm totally hooked. I played 4 hours the first time and didn't even look at the clock. Too bad I didn't save.

Great game, but it's too save-centric... there are too situations that just kill you randomly (example: you go to 2 cities and both doesn't sell forage... you are fried...) or buttons that kill you if mispressed ("there is a caravan, do you want to attack?" I haven't even noticed it wasn't the usual "there are robber, fight"). But it's a great game. I'd love to have more time to play it (I'd really suggest to put an autosave).

brilliant game. a little slow on the uptake, but once you get into it, its almost as good as any "world trade" Cd game. just be sure to read the instructions. 5/5

Really nice and comprehencive trading game. the combat can get a bit tiresome after a while but the game is great fun!

its a good and u dont start out with jack shit talk to the sheriff and u will get a donkey 1000 money and sniper rifle and buy stuff u need but space yourself so u can carry some cargo too

Unproductive, it says talk to the sheriff to get your inheritance. And for me 4/5 stars its crap when your attacked by 12 robbers.

what the hell. how are you supposed to do anything when you start with no money, no goods to trade with, and hardly any supplies?
