sheeps - eventually towns will stop buying items (some will never buy certain items) so just throw them away, they are only weighing you down. As for getting around, make sure you've got high AP and decent weapons. When you're heavily outnumbered, hide behind your carts/animals/vehicles and pop out to shoot, leaving enough AP to hide again. Once they get really close, switch to a shotgun.

I have like 80 Katana's and no one will buy them. When I try and get to big towns I just get massacred by 10-12 groups of robbers. Any advice?

its really hard... once i get a car barely 1 town sells fuel. and you know how much fuel i get? about 50.. not even worth rating..

Lol I had like 60 Katana's and none of the small towns were interested... I could get like 25000 gold or whatever with em!

Hmm... it seems there's a bug. When I play for a long time in one session all the carts cars, and animals get bought up and I still can't sell any more to the stores. It seems to fix if I save, refresh and load the game though.(you have to wait a bit, they won't magically appear again)

i hate when people ask how to save and complain about leaving cities. obivously if you cand get over 60 people to fight with you at a time. then this game you cant just be a hero anr run out there. you start low killing groups of like 3-6 robbers. then when you think you are wel equipped and have enough food, ammo and water and other. you can try to move somewhere more dangerous that has more oppurtunities. you cant just start game and go straight to all the dangerous areas and expect to live. Plus save is botom lef corner when traveling and you gain traveling speed by buying cars or other faster things. you travel as fast as the slowest thing in your party. uless you have vehicles. i hope i helped all newbies. Im a veteran :)

@Jeffreyd600: You should buy a rifle, either a sniper one (though real later in game) or you should go for the Assault Rifles (M4, M22, AK 101 are my favourite ones). If you like to go close and bloody you should buy Shotguns. Keep in mind that during the early cities you won't be able to find ammunition for assault rifles but you will be able to find ammunition for shotguns.

@Sheep: Go to options during the map screen, on the bottom right part of the game, and you'll get the option to both increase the game speed as well as load and save.

Anyway to save it normally?
"The game is big and you need a lot of time to finish it." Does he expect to never sleep or something?

no autosave, you start to find 10 men robber groups after exiting the 3rd city you visit, the fight system isn`t exactly good, 6/10

The higher the AP the faster. Also turn to fast the movement on map and a third note is that the caravan move at the speed of your slowest animal/car/henchman

UbiUbiU - all good ideas....hopefully they'll make a Caravaneer II with them! As for character stats - Intelligence always set to minimum, and I usually max out agility and physical shape - accuracy gets up there eventually. Do what Froboy said and walk around heaps in a battle - once you're up to about 20AP with your guy he is a killing machine.

This game seriously needs an "Auto-Resolve Combat" button. Getting constantly attacked by low powered robbers that are no threat, but just eat time, drags the came down. Like other games with that option, you would run a higher risk for casualties, but after the 500th super easy fight... I would use it. Also, a run away option would be good, maybe a 'payoff' option - either cash or goods, (not just for Qubba police).

Dead Smile: Walk around a lot during battles to raise your ap. The higher your agility, the easier it is to gain ap. Throw grenades or attack with melee weapons to raise your strength. The higher your physical shape, the easier it is to raise your strength.
I generally start with lots of agility and physical shape, because the others are more easily trained (especially intelligence traits--those can be augmented with items).

Regarding the horses, they suck. They chew through forage and water and unless you've got a vehicle you don't get the speed bonus. For some reason you cannot ride them, even if they don't have a cart attached.

When you have medicine and your people are still dying, it is because your 'Doctor' skill is low. The lower the doctor skill, the less likely you are able to treat grave injuries.

Reddragons: Your caravan moves as fast as the slowest unit.
So if you have 3 horses moving at 15kmh and 1 person moving at 5kmh, the party moves at a maximum of 5kmh.
Jeffreyd: I think your people are being healed, but they are losing health faster than they are gaining it.

I don't understand how some of my party members aren't getting healed on the road. I have plenty of medicine and they would be severely wounded, but their health would drain and die...
