Uh... I became an outlaw be4 i destroyed the base, is there a way to not become an outlaw anymore cuz im just killing all these police officers with rockets and snipers

Great game overall, love the trading prospect. The one fatal flaw that keeps annoying me is the fact that 5 bandit groups containing 3-4 men each can just basically line up. So you eliminate the first, not even a second later youre attacked again. Annoying. But great game.

buy someone and only use them for 2 short travels/1 long one and you wont have to pay, so for betterfirepower pick up everything long range/ simitars (only enough for your people, because alot of towns dont buy them) and just slap someone on for like 20 ingame days then fire them at a town you visit enough that you can keep him/her in cycle

you need to talk to the sherrif and he'll tell you to talk to john sheppard, then tell the DP guy the sheriff sent you

Ok I can't join the Desert Patrol, when I ask John Sheperd he tells says he can't trust me, and that i need someone to vouch for me

This is ridiculous. I've gotten the badge and gone decently far but I've died and said I'd be done with the game, but I keep coming back. This game is so fantastic! 5/5

this game never ceases to amuse me. Its like my version of an old atari game that I played as a kid, but I only played this 2 years ago. Ahhh the memories. None the less a sequel should be made even if it has to be 3rd party, hell even a wiiware game would be awesome (if possible)

LOL! Look at the easter egg the author put in. In Diep Gat, there's a person you can hire named Jorge Arbusto. Sounds like George Bush. JEORGE ArBUSTo. Anyways, his icon looks EXACTLY like George Bush, and guess what? His Intelligence is zero.

how to make it rock harder:
1. make random missions (kill robbers, get package to a town etc.)
2. make event with dates (christmas yeey)
3. uhm... make some strange not on map spots, like oasis (with water) or lost people (whom you can take on your caravan)

CH4RBS,if you want to get to Verdammter Platz without hiring an army first, you should tag along one of those Desert Patrol Caravans. They will destroy all robbers they see.

in the beginning, the ninjas are hard if you dont know how to kill them. they have low HP and HIGH Ap. a close up shot with a rifle kills them in the end, bazookas and genades for group kills obviously

I just realized this; cotton should be weighed by grams not kilograms. Righ now according to the game, 7 cotton balls weigh as much as an rpg >_>

When can I start doing jobs? Every time I ask the president he just says come back later, and I have no idea how to join Desert Patrol. I have 1.5 million, 13 hummers and 17 men, and its getting boring

for those of you who are struggling at the end with getting a lot of money - Don't just trade for things to make quick money. Certain towns need certain things or they wont produce a certain good. Then you get into voids of selling for crap or their being nothing that you want. If you wanna do something like sell shoes for a lot of money, make sure the town u buy shoes from gets tons of leather in so it can make the shoes etc..

20 men, 20 Hummers, $2.7 million.
Someone mentioned earlier a great way to make money. Buy alcohol in Ft. Gox and in Smerd and turn around and sell it in Qubba. I buy then sell around 20k liters of alcohol and make about $300k in profit each time.
A few things I've noted. The direction you attack or get attacked from determines where the enemy is when you start the fight. So try and hit them head on for the max distance between you. I wouldn't suggest getting more than 20 people. Anymore than that and they seem to just block everyone in behind vehicles.
With 20 hummers, I can 36k of cargo, but I use a huge amount of fuel doing it. I've actually had to sit in for a month waiting for them to actually make more fuel, so it pays to buy the fuel drums and keep a large stock just in case.

@Athiu: You don't need a trip planner, you can just plan it yourself. It depends on how fast you travel. In the beginning you travel at a slow rate of 4 km/hr. Each hour in this game is about a second. And to see the distance from one town to another, measure to distance and next to the coordinates is the distance. Once you have found out the distance its just divide distance by time.
@justin00: You can only save when you're in desert mode [traveling to other cities]. Exit the city and at your left corner of your game screen you will see a wrench sign. Click and select the button called "Save Game". Hope this helped.

I like the concept, but it needs work. It would be nice to see some calculating tools for trip planner or something similar
