the thng I don't like about this game is that you have to tajke turns,I wish the person you hired would become a computer who could fight on his own.I hate waiting for my openent when there is like 20 of them!the battle would be more interesting and more fierce if everyone fought at the same time.other than that this game is 10000000000/10000000000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nevermind I get it now. Horses are pointless if your guys are on foot, but will match speed of ATVs. Still, would have been nice to be able to ride the horses for early extra speed.

let me explain my point a bit... there should be some strategic considerations on whether you buy a mule, camel, horse, or ox. carrying capacity and how much food/water they take is certain one part of the strategy. with horses, there's basically no point to having them UNLESS you can ride them to either outrun or run-down robbers.

@cruix you dont ride the horses the speed of 5kph is the speed of your slowest human
if you want to go faster you need to get an atv or car

Without any exaggeration I could put almost as much time as I chucked at Elite, Hardwar and the port royale games at this... god help me when the sequel comes out... Now there's a conflict wanting the sequel but not watning it because I know my life will take second place :D

random123321: I think this is exactly why the game is so good. At the beginning you might loose in 1 against 4 combat, later you succed in 3 against 10, but even much more can be done. For example 1 guy with a pistol or rifle can destroy whole caravan. The point is not about training, it's about fighting strategy. Some ideas are written here here http://caravaneer.wikia.com/wiki/Tips Even 1 bare-hands guy can destroy caravan or any police unit, but i needed a little trick (maybe a cheat)- to weaken my victim by exposing it to robbers and lower their health before i attacked them.

most of the time if you press up on the shop items menu when its at the top of the list a item called undefined x pops up and u can buy as much as u want

ive found that the perect base skill setup is 6 str, 10 agi, 8 snip and 1 intel. U don't need intel in the beginning (not many guns to deal damage to trucks or animals, and robers dont do u much damage) and u can get a inteligent person afterwards.

@mrfurgabob: Physical Shape affects how much equipment you can carry and also contributes to the damage you do with melee weapons and how far grenades are thrown. Agility affects how fast you move when traveling the map and how many action points you get each turn. Accuracy affects how acurate your shots are. Intelligence increases your skills in mechanic, doctor and veterinarian. It may also affect how quickly you gain new skills. Hope this helps.

Yes, let's attack a caravan with twice as many members as us, outfitted with military equipment with out fists. That makes perfect sense, it's so crazy it has to work! Lawl...

I agree, there should be less robbers, but not much less, considering this is an apocalyptic scenario.

TO save go outside and there should be a wrench like button in the bottom right corner, click it and it will bring up the menu to save load etc.

This game is really great, but the robbers are a bit much. I encounter robbers like 5 times in a trip, and they post no threat at all other than boring me to death.

the top scores are so full of hackers its ridiculous. that really needs to be cleared out. its not possible to earn a million dollars in 0 hours.
