Someone in your caravan is walking at 5kmh, so everyone/thing goes at 5kmh. If you bought something that goes at 3kmh, it would bring the speed down to 3kmh for the entire caravan.

@eric001 Int increases your skills such as doctor, vet and mechanic. Not that it's much use since you can hire people with those stats in the 50s, but hey, you can also hire soldiers with much higher sniper than you.

i like to put most my stat points into HP and AP at the start hit + if you think this is best, oh and what does int. even do?

a really good strategy is to use about half the money you first get to buy shoes from poca cosa, then go 357 degrees to the next town and sell them. you will get about 3 to 5 times your money back! hit + if this helped a lot

ive always been looking for a game like this on this site. Hit plus if you favorited this game on your first time playing

So people know, when calculating travel time the travel speed takes includes resting time, so you can assume constant travel at that speed.

Folds and Dunes are your landmarks. See that in your map, there are curves? These correspond to the dunes of the dessert.

Same here XD. I return to this game every month or so. This game has a great replay value. MUCH better than Frontier.

Love this game so much, I have a shortcut to it on my desktop, I comment daily, and I play for atleast an hour or so daily, restarting every 3 days. I restart so often I have never even gotten close to finishing the game!

I wish the desert wasn't so uniform looking. It would be better if it was more like fallout 1 and 2 where there were landmarks like mountains and abandoned cities and the likes.

Remember that if you get hurt to much your doctor skill won't be enough to heal you and you will slowly die until you get to a town to go to clinic to heal yourself, that's why you should only get hurt about 20 HP every time, the same goes with your animal but with your Vet Skill instead! Hope this helps! Keep these comments alive and click the +!!!

Keep doing this until your Character is fit with good skills of Doctor, Stength, Health, AP, and Veteranrian skills. This will help you through out the game and it only takes about an hour to get your character nice and strong. Do this with any hired help aswell! The best stats are Physical Shape: 6 Agility: 10 Accuracy: 6 Intellligence: 3. Doing what I told you will balance out everything!

How to get your stats up early in the game. Get into a fight and head towards the robbers. Use your fist or even a knife, katana, or scimitar if you already have one, hit them a couple times and run away far enough to where they can come to you but don't have enough AP to hit you. Repeat until dead. Your strength and AP should go up. Now go and do the same thing but make sure to have medicine this time! Get hurt about 20 HP then kill them. Use your medicine to heal yourself. Make sure to go to your Caravan and have it where you heal all wounded with medicine. Next go into another fight and shoot your animal (What ever animal you have) After dealing with the robbers you will be healing your animal along the way.

I don't think the map should show where you are. You should instead use the map to navigate. Just drag from one point to another. You don't see yourself on a map, now do you?

why are there so many people commenting "caravaneer 2 pls" or something like that.... i mean i already see 4 top comments there.... No need to repeat it... :P
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i love this game, however, in caravaneer two, i for one would really, REALLY like some sort of auto save feature. + if you agree please.

Awesome. I sold my horses and bought an ATV while I was in Fort Groks only to find out that fuel is only sold in 3 towns, none of which is Fort Groks. Sadly, Groks also doesn't sell animals, which leaves me completely stuck. I get that not every town can produce fuel, but you'd think a military base would maybe have a bit to sell for a man on official government business. >_<

commonde7x the reason there makeing a new engin is becouse its gona be upgraded plus about 30% of people got new conputers made around 2007- 2011 and they dont want an old engin couse it might couse freese bad graphix and maybe lag.

After playing this game some time ago thought I would kill some time and play again. Can't wait till Caravaneer 2 comes out.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why bother making an entire new Caravaneer 2? You don't need a new engine, just make a different set of scenarios, move around the towns, change some text and prices, and the enjoyment will last.

is there a way to save? or not die on your first trip? i mean, come on, the difficultly curve on this game is ridiculous, any time you have to get lucky in order to be able to get past the first mission you know you have some serious balancing issues. That, and the fact that it seems to either be not possible to save or the save button is buried deep in some unreachable able menu nets you 2/5
