This is an okay game, but too many things just feel totally related to luck rather than my upgrades or skill. Even something simple, like adding one upgrade for "starting combo", and one upgrade for "number of ships on the screen", would do a lot to make this feel less like watching a random number generator.

It's a very good game =) The only thing I'd suggest would be to make it so you can click on an active power-up you don't want to cancel it, so you can make room for something else (I had unlocked all booster slots, but I kept getting like 4 copies of the same power, like more ships, active at once).
Still, very enjoyable =)

Fun game but could use more to it. First off the upgrades jump way too fast, make them have smaller effects and cost less otherwise we are just grinding forever it we get unlucky. An ability to increase the amount of ships on the screen is a must, it does not matter how many abilities you get to make more explosions or get more upgrades because the more explosions you have the less ships on the screen. Eventually you just kill every ship and your chain ends because you were doing TOO GOOD. All in all though it is an interesting idea and a fun game, I hope I see an improved version in the future. 4/5

Oh this game is so fun xD I love combo games where you increase in power until everything is kaboom! Like many commenters, more grabbers from upgrades will be helpful. A way to order your grabbers what priority to get items might be useful too :P Lastly, maybe option to change background, or the background changes as you play the game could be fun too. And I LOVE the music :P Another idea I have is maybe upgrade your own bullet to be faster (just the one you shoot might be fairer), and for cosmetic, maybe changing the cannon and grabbers haha.

Sir, we're ready to attack the enemy; what is our strategy? Fly in simple, linear formations, do not purposely dodge enemy fire, load the cargo bay with gold, power-ups, and exploding munitions that only work against our planes and not the enemy, and whatever you do, do not fire upon them! Is that clear? Sir yes sir!

Very simple yet fun. Reminds me of those games in an arcade where you try to get the most points possible with limited tries for tickets.

just an idea if there was a way to cancel buffs you don't want :3 could help with whole 4 of one kind(4 piercing bullets eg) unless they stack some how that would be interesting too just an idea have a good one eh

Great game in simplicity. I have a suggestion though. Knowing what each ship is and does on death would be helpful. Of course I could always play for a little longer (and I will) and figure it out for myself. :)

fire for free tends to be little use because it tends to be available when there is already a chain going.
needs other upgrades like permanent increased ship frequency, options for firing angle besides straight up, upgrades for frequency of bonuses or unlocking new bonuses, rewards for chain lengths, further upgrades for collector drones, upgrades for field size (would be a kind of passive upgrade but it increases chain development chance).

Good job on this game, it is quite fun!
I won't repeat everything that has already been said about the boosters.
Perhaps in a later version, you could make it so that the music can be muted independently from the sound effects.

one small idea could you make it so that the explosions dont crash slower computers? my computer keeps crashing while playing

it would be nice if, instead of always giving you more of the same, specials would act like a fill up of whats already there. Otherwise love it.

Nothing is sadder than watching your gatherers shove a few extra bullets and free fires into your base's trash can on the tenth shot because you were full up on "useless" bonuses.

Come to think of it, all bonuses should have some sort of stacking or timer-reset mechanic. If you have more than one score doubler at once, is your score quadrupled?

Agree with YayKitties; Either multiple Free Fire tokens should stack somehow, or you should be able to click to remove a useless buff. Or both.

the main problems about this game are -A) bots not prioritizing upgrades over coins (esp. small coins) -B) upgrade order (why would you ever want double pierce/free bullets) just make the slots per upgrade and let the timer reset if you pick up the same upgrade again -C) you heavily depend on early drops of certain upgrades (more ships+pierce) otherwise the game is pretty solid

Would really be nice if you could "delete" specials by clicking them. I have no need for 3 "free bullet" specials, especially not if I have a big chain right now and would rather want more "more ships" specials.

Gotta love randomness. Got a 2185 combo on my last bullet with all upgrades at the penultimate level. Lots of explosions :D
