You've beat me to it... this is very close to what I had in mind to develop. However, the reading of the speed in my opinion should also include milliseconds of 3 decimal places... capable to be played on mobile phones, as a swf (flash-lite file), even for accelerometers... an option to go on a one minute speed run for us to see how far we can travel which slows our speed the further we are from the center. Maybe as a random-seeded game... add a few bonus gems with various points where it's quite a challenge to collect so it can make quite a difference for player as for ranking higher in their level of difficulty.

That hard badge would be a whole hell of a lot less frustrating it those damn curves weren't there. Lots of times the turns are just plain too sharp and you have to lift your mouse up to turn anymore. but there's no times for that before you smack into something.

Oh my god this game is so frustrating, and yet i can't stop playing.. What kind of devilry is this.
But seriously, great game, and so addictive. 5/5

the game lags a bit :( it's not really important till the 700's in hard mode but then it gets really annoying , things just appears before you out of nowhere >.<

Practice mode should have a lot more options, it shoud be a real sandbox mode. I think about such options as: 'rubber tunnel' - only frontal colloisions would kill you (so hitting the tunnel wall with your side wouldn't hurt); 'god mode' - you would bump off of anything you hit and continue with a slightly reduced speed; a key for turning automatic acceleration on/off during the game; a choice of tunnel type to practice (instead of automatically going on the hard tunnel). And if it's possible to implement, it would be great to be able to set the percentage of each kind of obstacles as well as their average frequency, the minimum distance between them and the distance at they become visible.
By the way, I think reaching velocity of 1000 on hard mode is only possible with a huge luck, becouse at high speeds (like over 700) impossible barrier-combos are very common. (For example some rotating barrier right at the end of a curve.)

This game is really addicting, but at the moment I want to take my computer and throw it out a window. 5/5 because I haven't done that yet. I can't get past 927

first time playing i got just below 500, pretty easy game but the mouse sensitivity is a little too low for turning 4/5

i have died by the curves and splits a ton and ive only died by the red obstacles like twice you should make the turns not turn so tight other than that good game 5/5

100 speed:Well this is easy
200 speed:Still easy...
300 speed:Now were gettin' something here.
400 speed:Woooo Im going fast!
500 speed:Im going a little too fast :O
600 speed:Oh no I'm gonna crash
700 speed:Ahhh Im going too fast
800 speed: GAHHH TOO FAST
900 speed:Sweet Jesus almighty!
1000 speed: IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY TURN IT OFF

It's a great game, though I seem to be having problems with curves. It feels like it's lagging on curves. Either that, or I just can't take then decently enough.

i don't really comment about games that much but right now i had to since it "hooked" me :) easy 5/5. you the man TenebrousP!

Awesome game, but what's frustrating is that you move forward faster than you move laterally, so even if you do react to obstacles in time you may not physically adjust to make it through.

I would also like to make 3 suggestions: 1) quick restart key, possibly Space. 2) tunnel mode: same as hard, but without the red obstacles. 3) more important to improve gameplay: the curves are the hardest thing in the game, and you can barely see them coming. I suggest, draw the tunnel with less lines, and the curves with a lot of lines, like the actual tunnel, so we can see them coming. Give it a + so the developer will see it. :O)

I will eventually get the hard badge in 1 million tries, but I have to say: gameplay can be really frustrating, not because ninja reflexes are required, but because a lot of times they wont work. I mean, you have to guess whats coming before seeing it. Circular obstacles wont let you see a curve behind them, you leave curves 1 cm from a plate with a small section open, and those squares missing 1-2 quadrants... do we really deserve series with 8-10 of these? (cant see why 3-4 is not enough.) To be less frustrating, give us a small time to see and react, but dont make us guess whats coming.

Loved this game before, got to 997 before badges were introduced - but now when I play, even on fast/fastest with no effects the lag destroys playability at 940. I see a turn, the screen locks, controls are pointless and I'm dead. And until this gets fixed, the game (and hard badge) is dead too.
