Brilliant game!
I was looking forward to isolation and survival... Unfortunately, it's not that easy to get away from other people. There had to be one guy immediately join me, stranded in the middle of nowhere...

First i just want to say that this is a amazing game, but there is one thing im not very proud about, i think you should add something to prevent it, so what happened was when i was summoning the alchemist in the dragon lair
i pressed Z but my charecter just hit the dragon so now i cant play since i cant kill it

Is the undeveloped island put in the demo as a little Easter egg or is it unintentional, since you have to use the wyrm tunnels to get to it? Also is "Wyrm" said like Why-rim or just worm?

Mr. Developer, Is this a demo of Aground? Cause this game is on steam for $20 or something. I would really appreciate a response. Thank You.
This is the demo of Aground (and it's a really long demo, the first 3 islands). You can also get the demo as a download on steam if you prefer that. The full version expands the game a lot, but the demo alone is still a pretty full game (it started out as a free game, and we slowly expanded it until we launched the full version).

dmccash the problem is that The full version DOSENT cost 15$ (its just that in kartridge for a odd reason most games are way more expensive) I got the full version in steam for 6$ when it was a sale (usually at 8$). And the full version is much much much bigger. And way harder. Currently trying to beat the final boss in it. (its op)

I played this game about 3 years ago and is was very good but it left me on a cliffhanger. Im going to play again to see if they updated the story
I'm not sure what version you played, but we stopped adding story content to the demo after the mirrows boss fight. The full version now has the complete story (up to the final boss).

Ive seen in the top comments that they say the game is: Easy. I got the full version and trust me it gets VERY VERY HARD. I liked the demo a lot (old one bossfight in the demo was hard indeed). But the full version theres somethings that lack in. Like everything gets hidden from you later on. You have to test everything to try advance. Great game tho 5/5.

I LOVE this game! One of the greats, for sure. Small problem, though... The placing of structures and items (like "fence", "anvil", and "workbench") is slightly annoying. I cant seem to get them to snap to the most aesthetically pleasing locations. 5/5

A huge bug i found in the game is that when you talk to the builder an excessive amount of times, he will drop a name plate, which you will then name. Afterwards, when ever you come to contact with said sign, your game freezes up, forcing you into refreshing the browser, causing you to lose all unsaved progress. Quite annoying, please fix.
EDIT: The bug was later found to be caused by area names with the special character '[' in them (without a matching ']', because of the way formatting works). This will be fixed in the next update, just don't use '[' in area names for now.

I recently saw someone remarking on how pigs can give milk and eggs, I feel this problem could be solved by using a made up animal capable of doing said processes, so the simplicity can stay and the game will make sense

NPCs are standing in front of workbench/anvil, and only thing i can "craft" is - TALK, talk, blah, blah, blah, talk, talk and talk, crafting "talk to NPC" that already said everything, is really awesome, i have crafted tons of useless talk, and NPCs are still standing in front of anvil/workench, and crafting "stupid" talk
Usually they will move on after a moment, but if you go to options, gameplay options, and uncheck "Give NPC priority with no quests," it won't prompt you to talk to them unless they have a ! or there is nothing else to interact with.

The hotbar isn't very intuitive... What it should do is whatever I set to each number should always stay as that number. What happens instead, for example, is that I'll set the lantern to 1 and the bow to 2. If I press 1, it equips the lantern. If I then press 2 with the lantern still out, it equips the bow but sets the bow to 1 and lantern to 2. It's gets confusing and aggravating when you start using 6 hot keys at a time.
A lot of players like this, as it lets them switch equipment sets using less hotkeys, but you can turn it off by going into options -> gameplay options and unselect switch equipment hotkeys - then it will function like you describe.
This is a known bug in the web version (for some reason, it doesn't exist in the downloadable demo which is why I didn't find it before), and it will be fixed with the next update. This happens when you change the difficulty to hardest when you've already used up all your skill points (as you have less on hardest). Try resetting your skill points before switching to hardest or moving back to harder until the update comes.
This is the demo - the demo contains the first 3 major islands (start, sunset haven, magic). The full version goes on to add more islands to the starting planet, space travel and more planets (the demo is about 20% of the full version).

How do you get all of the achievements? I'm only missing about 5 or so and the dragon armor and golem thing is completely lost to me.

When I first played this back in 2017 I quit after getting the dock, probably due to reading some spoilers about dragons. This time I've gone much further... to the point that now I'm aware this game is a demo. That's REALLY disheartening. It's absolutely brilliant, but I feel duped. Having demo appended to the version number is easy to misinterpret, as I did, and easily overlooked as irrelevant. A splash screen on start would be adequate.

I've enjoyed Aground for a few days now - although I'm not exactly what you'd call the 'best' gamer, I really love the way you've created this game. I can tell that I will continue enjoying it for quite some time and I think it's important to support indie developers so I've just now bought Aground on Steam. Well done, and thanks!

Today class, i would like to point out 4 intresting things.
1.pens can be built anywhere on ground level that isnt underground
2.once built when on an island with a barn/farm thing, pens require no mantnince.
3. you can build a barn on the island to the left of starter island
4. the desert sectiuon of aforementioned island is "useless"(wink wink) flat ground level ground.
5. the barn in the nice part of the island affects all ground, ALL ground on this island.
Coinclusion- 20 some extra pens of sellable food producing resoures=Lots of free bacon!!!!!!!!!
