I think I'm done now: Found the Ice berries, let the Dragon kill the Yeti and then use Yetifur for Ice arrows to kill the Dragon. Found a Fire Gem and even Titanium. No idea what it's for though ^^oh yes and i baked a Pizza of course!
And what the hell is wrong with the goddamn Fire Chickens? They are more dangerous than the freaking Dragon lol

Okay... I give up. Where do I find ice berries? I pick from snow covered bushes on the mountain and only get regular berries.

Ice berries: +1 def for 30 sec and -5 HP. Defensive potion from ice berries: +1 def for 30 sec. Not really worth it. If it was +2 or +60 seconds, maybe.

so what do we do with the fire gem? btw tip for killing the dragon: farm for yeti fur and attack the dragon from behind with the ice arrows, it'll crit and incapacitate the dragon just long enough to shoot another til it's dead
Not the adult dragon, it's too big. You can hatch a baby dragon though - and eventually it will grow into a dragon of the same size as a the boss (and even bigger).

If you want to make a fully fleshed out, 6 hour game version of this, i'd buy it. this is easily the best game I've played this year.

(Steel Sword or Iron Sword+Attack Potion/Red Berries REQUIRED) Strategy for killing the dragon: dig ~10-20 blocks down along the sand border, come up to attack the dragon and go back down when dragon begins attacking. Rinse and repeat until the dragon is dead. You can kill it without taking any damage with this method.

To be clear, are the new potions (speed, endurance, +hp +stamina) permanent? This is to say, if I imbibe 10 hp potions, will this boost only last for a short bit, will I come back on and see my Max reduced by 200, or will I forever have all 200 hp points added on?

I found the yeti to be really easy to kill. I baited the dragon into using fire breath towards the yeti and the yeti dies in almost 1 shot. Fighting the yeti without using the dragon though makes it really difficult.

LOL! I found that you can trick the dragon into roasting the Yeti if you dig out and time your dodge of the flames just right! Poor yeti got Barb-qued XD

What am I to do with quartz? I've been selling it, mostly because I can't seem to find a use for it? Are you planning on doing more with it in the coming updates? If not I'm perfectly content using it as a cash cow.
It will be craftable into silicon for high tech upgrades. It'll take a while before it has a use, so you can sell it (there will be more quartz available on some islands).

Man, this games new update is REALLY good. The Yeti miniboss is pretty easy with my tactic, but the Dragon boss though... absolutely insane... also, what will the fire gem do? Or, what does it do? Will you add new gems like water gem for killing a diffrent water dragon? Im waiting for the new content inpaciently!
I'm glad you liked the update! Strangely enough, I've heard people say the opposite - that the dragon was too easy and the yeti too tough - I guess it depends what strategies you develop. The gems are all really important, and there will be other types. Since their use isn't implemented yet, I just made it unusable/un-sellable/un-droppable. For now, hold on to it, it will have a use in the next major update.

Awesome update! If this isn't even close to the amount of things that the entire new island is going to bring, then I'm more excited than ever. I appreciate the change in the material around the alchemist. I held off on destroying it before so it would still feel like it was a room, but now I don't have to worry about that :) Very cool concepts with the mini-boss and boss, look forward to using the new materials received from them. All around just a great update :)

Looks like it's a "dying golem" instance. I've gathered all the loot and shooting the place again while it's empty generated new loot. If you look closely on the screenshot there's titanium, diamond and gold in one place.

I've just stumbled upon another weird bug when it comes to killing things (just like the other with the invincible wyrm).
When trying to kill a golem with a bow, when the golem was on low hp (like 1 or 2) and 2 or 3 blocks away from me, the arrow hit generated loot (diamond) right in front of me (golem was 2 blocks further).
Shooting arrows into the bugged loot started making another golem related drops (including titanium).
Thought I'd share.
This sounds like another difficult to reproduce bug like the infinite wyrm one. I'll see if I can reproduce it, but I just killed 8 golems that way without any problems.

I think that attacks are bugged because after I got the Rusty Axe none of my attacks have hit and its been like 15 minutes.
The rusty axe deals 0 damage, so if it's equipped, C will attack with it and deal no damage. Z will use the (context sensitive) best tool available though - so hitting Z next to an enemy while the rusty axe is equipped will attack with your best weapon (if you have any).

at first i thought it was several wyrms on top of eachother then i thought it was a single bugged wyrm then i realized that all my wyrms were bugged.

bug found that i am totally abusing: spam nets everywhere and possibly traps too as i did that as well somehow triggers a bug. wyrms get caught by nets and continue walking. place nets in their path to get infinite wyrms. so far i have about 200 wyrms. plz don't fix XD

what's the point of making us wait till we have the boat to fish if fishing gives us useless rubbish. rockfish is not good and takes too long to get even if it was. give us sushi in the kitchen so it can be awesome instead of useless plz.
