a few ideas: --convert half of leftover stamina into health when resting, add a short but noticeable cooldown to resting. --allow birds to be killed with arrows, make them drop eggs or meat. --auto use fishing pole when facing water, there is nothing to hit there anyway. --make wood chopping implements craftable, give at least one more level to them, possibbly add an organic underground biome/pocket that needs to be hacked through with better tool instead of mined (with wyrms inside? could serve as a source for wyrms). --option to pause the game when unfocused (same as using buildings). --rain/snow that slowly drains stamina if exposed (not underground), thunderbolts occasionally destroying trees, turning them into mineable coal+wood.

A few minor suggestions to an already awesome game.
Shift + Click for +5 Crafting.
Ctrl + Click for the whole stack to be crafted.
Price displayed after the coin purse is obtained.
More space so the player has options about what he wants to build.
Change existing space to another type of building (with cost maybe?)
Thanks for the fun!
Custom building placement is already planned for a future update, and the UI suggestions sound like a good idea (I might do a count prompt instead of shift+click/ctrl+click so people playing without a mouse can craft more than 1 at a time too).

On some keyboards (especially central and easern europe) the buttons for Z and Y are swapped for no good reason (see QWERTZ keyboards), so if you end up using either in your game, it is generally a good idea to make the other one have the exact same function as well. I did find the option to remap the keys (after a good while and accidentally figuring out that pressing X opens up a menu, since I had no reason ever to click C until I got to fishing, which is not as automatic as chopping trees), which is a really nice touch that more games should have, but trying to remap the button for inventory crashed the game. I never actually found anywhere to see why endurance or speed stats or what their maxes are, and actual magic would have been nice. all in all, it is an excellent game, and I look forward to uses for quartz and titanium later.
Yes. Mainly because 9999 is the max characters that will fit next to the coin purse. I might shrink the font there or have a different coin purse for allowing more coins, but for now I should just stop people from selling stuff when they hit the max.

I really enjoyed this game! I was also pleasantly surprised that it had built in xbox controller support so I didn't have to spend time inputting the buttons into JoyToKey. Hopefully xb1 will pick it up, I'd buy it and play through again! Looking forward to new islands!

Lovely game, though I wish it was longer. I kept waiting for the workshop to offer me better tools/equipment, and to get more quest to unlock new stuff, and then I finished the game and I felt kind of sad. Great game, regardless. Maybe we'll get more stuff in a sequel? Also, it would have been cool to be able to take the baby dragons with you so they could help you fight and be like: I AM THE FATHER OF DRAGONS! BEND THE KNEE!
More items and stuff/content will come in later updates - and having the dragons follow you, fight for you, and grow (eventually being able to fly on them) is also planned!

I think this is the first game that I was legitimately surprised and sad to finish. It's so simple to start but by the end the harvesting, mining, smelting, buying, selling, cooking, crafting, and potion brewing grind is so second nature that it's so shocking when you realize it's all over. Thank you for making an hour and a half fly by, TERRA0NOVA, this might be my new favorite game on Kongregate! <3

There should be a achievement for getting all achievements in game, But that would be a twist because you'd be getting a achievement for all the achievements, but if its all the achievements that means you would need that achievement too, making everything i said a paradox and not count, also that was a lot of achievements put in there. im just gonna stop now
You aren't the first person to mention this - but I've played many games on many browsers and have never seen it happen. The only thing I can think of that would cause this is if the storehouse and hut were placed in the same spot, the storehouse would overwrite the hut. But, they are placed in fixed locations, so I'm not sure how they could overlap.

okay I'm not sure why it's doing this, but every time I press Z to collect wood it does it, but my screen also gets shot down to right about the comments section. Is anyone else having this problem and if so how did you fix it?

Dragonblood is found by killing Wyrms, the ugly worm things underground. They need a Steel weapon, or block all your attacks.
The attack boost from red berries + a critical hit from behind with the stone axe can penetrate their armor too. Or, my favorite, bows + arrows and traps so you don't even have to get close to them.

An INCREDIBLE game, mechanics well adjusted, funny and with a cool learning curve... Hope you devs put more content soon!
Glad you liked the game! It does save before you sail, so if you had other side quests you wanted to complete after sailing, just load the slot and it'll take you back to right before you sailed.
You only have to hatch one dragon - the progress bar shows your progress on the quest to get dragons (1 for lab, 2 for wyrm pen, 3 for dragon hatched).
It says miss 10% of the time you attack, or if you attack something that can't be hit (or nothing). So, either you're really unlucky, or you're trying to attack an NPC. The birds/seagulls are also not attackable.

As I hold down z to pick up stuff when I walk, it automatically closes every message that would pop up, please fix that
After you get the dock and return the the barn, the farmer will automatically add the cotton seeds (with a message). Select a crop on the right and click change crop, and you'll see cotton as an option.

I LOVE how I don't have to have items in hand to use them in the kitchen, turning in quests, etc. Being able to use them from storage is such a good design choice. Great game. Makes me really anxious for Terraria update on consoles.

I've finished the game (built my boat anyway), hatched my dragons, but there's never been an option or a quest to build a kitchen. Have I missed a trick?

Great job! Smooth progress and good balance between grind and explore. Bunch of recepies usless though. Golem sometimes drop titanium which i didn't find use. I'll surely looking forward to your next game.
P.S.
Dwarf so severe that can milk pigs.

It would be nice if you could do something like butchering to get extra immediate resources from farm animals (or wyrms/baby dragons) at the cost of no longer being able to get the infinite-but-slower resources over time. Like I could sell a baby dragon at the markets for a slightly higher price than the wyrm it once was, but I'd rather get the dragonblood it would have dropped if I just killed it in the first place since I only checked because I had two more in the pens.

I think I might be overlooking something. I believe I'm at the end of the game as I just built the boat. But I'm still missing the kitchen, the backpack and pizza achievements. However, none of the npcs have more to say. Are these last things hiding underground?
Remember that NPC you turned away at the start of the game and then you looted their corpse? Those quests are given by him, you'll have to start a new game and allow him in your hut if you want all achievements.

left me wanting a bit more unfortunately, the ending was rather abrupt. the bottom of the map had a purple barrier, i was hoping to get through it. im dissapointed, all things considered, this game didnt really stick out in any way.
