The only problem I have with this game is thinking there is more to do than what there actually is. I feel as though youve chosen the wrong platform here, that this should be on steam and id happily give 5-10 bucks for it should updates/expansion be applied :)

I have to say, you can tell this game is unfinished. There seemed to be a few mechanics that were missing, like why couldn't I mine the stone? This is when I realized that you're still updating it. I have to say, for a yet to be finished game, this is really fun, it encourages you to learn on your own. I'm kind of a game developer myself, I just muck around in "Game Maker Studio", and I've learnt a bit of the programming language "python", and i can see that this was no easy feat. I would like to see more than one music track, however I'm still giving you a 5/5, your efforts paid off.
You can't mine the stone at the bottom (purple) - but to mine the normal stone tiles (gray), you need to craft an iron or steel pick axe. A lot of areas are blocked off until you get better tools and equipment (even purple tiles will eventually be mineable), but the game is still incomplete - we have a lot of new areas and content planned. I'm glad I inspired you to make your own games - it is a lot of work, but it is very worthwhile! More music will come, our composer is just off for the holidays.

ok I finally get why the game does not display great for me. I tried on another computer and it works just fine on the same browser: edge. So I suspect something on the hardware or driver side. The computer on which the game does not display great is 9 years old.
Yeah... it doesn't surprise me the game doesn't run well on a 9 year old computer... although I did get it working on my 8 year old linux test machine.

The first time I played this game I rated it four stars, but it drew me back for another play through so I changed it to five stars.
Get the fishing rod. Use it on one coast or the other (or at the end of the dock). Wait until it says "there's something on the line," then hit c (it has a c tooltip). It may catch immediately, or say wait for it, if it says wait for it, wait until it says pull now and hit c again. If you hit c at the wrong time, it'll get away, otherwise depending on the difficulty of the fish, you'll eventually get it (I think coral cods can take 3-4 pulls).

I love the game! Is there a way to fish in this version? If not, I'll just equip my fishing rod and wave it around to impress the wild piggies trapped behind the fence.
After you get the dock, return to the barn (farm house) and the farmer will add seeds for it (this event may have already happened). Then, just select a crop on the right and change it to cotton!

Is my character supposed to be moving so slow? I tried it in both Chrome and Firefox to make sure it wasn't just the game lagging and I gave up after being frustrated by the utterly unplayable movement bug. FWIW, I'm on a high end gaming PC with the latest versions of both browsers and java/flash. Literally have never had a problem with any game on this site until now.

Holy shit man.
I really enjoyed the game!
Hope you will extend it, cause I could feel the potential!
Dope stuff! Thanks for making this!

Why do i walk in a really slow, stuttering fahion? it feels like a bug. I actually run out of stamina and health before i can pick up the first 8 logs to build a hut!
This sounds like a bug - you have WAY more stamina needed to pick up all of the logs. Not sure why it's happening though, I've never had anything like this happen on any of my test machines. Maybe try a different browser or computer.

I beat the game before it had badges. Now it erases my game saves every time I close my browser (I do not clear cookies). Is anyone else having this issue?
I would really like to play through again for badges, in more than 1 sitting.

I liked the game ,but it would be better if you could not just leave your new friends and the diamonds need to be more useful. You could make a new sword or a a new lair of the map

On alchemist and potions:
Atk Potion: increases damage during 30 sec.
Def Potion: increases defense during 30 sec.
HP potion: permanently increases maximum HP.
Sta Potion: permanently increases maximum Stamina.
Spd Potion: permanently increases walking speed.
End Potion: permanently reduces Stamina cost for walking.
Note however that there's a hard cap on the permanent potions, limiting how many you can benefit from each of them, currently being: 4 speed, 4 endurance, 5 health and 5 stamina potions max. Drinking more results in no benefit.
+ so others can see.

Why does every character walks normally, but mine moves in a stuttering manner? Is something wrong with my game or is he supposed to be a cripple or something like that? It's really annoying.

--quest to reanimate dead builder as your unholy undead servant/reanimated mockery of life in the name of SCIENCE, able to build missing building but not very good company; freaks out others, reducing their activity. --other survivors actually eat from the storage in game+ and complain of being hungry if storage is empty. --fenced off boars that cant eat rats for a while become more agressive, venture underground, possibly becoming food to wyrms, causing them to cocoon up.

--Arcane/Lightning Ward, craft at upgraded alchemy station, has 5-15 hp, 2-3 damage, 5 cell range, ignores armor, can be placed from inventory, requires gold a quartz to craft. --hut visuals improves as population grows (number of survivors), better visuals if builder lives. --storehouse visuals upgraded when forge and workshop is built, better visuals if builder lives.

--friendly monster from alchemy flask (useable inventory item), craft in alchemy lab with meat and quartz: Reanimated Flesh, fast, dog-sized abomination of twisted arcane science, 15-25 hp, 2 damage, has 2-3 cell leap attack for 3 damage, loses health over time/has a lifetime duration, regains health/refreshes duration on kills (whichever is easier to code), gains nothing for rock monsters (inedible), after kills worth 10 hp mutates into: Flesh Golem, slower, no leap attack, 40-60 hp, 4 damage, 1 armor, after killing 15 hp (25 total) evolves into: Uncontrollable Abomination, 120-150 hp, 6-8 damage, no armor, 2cell attack range, hostile to EVERYTHING

--female protagonist option, simply swap sprites with miner or rogue. --segment up the background and make it a bit more dinamic, turning it into lush fields behind wheet farms, grasslands with animals behind pens. --add a salvageable piece of technology from the crashed ship to progress after steel. --build spaceport on home island after recovering all tech from all islands; choose who to take with you into a new game+ on another planet. --trees, wildlife regrow less in darker hours, prevent sleep during daylight unless under 30-40% stamina. --summonable, short lived friendly monster from alchemy jar that helps fight. --periodical winter when fields, trees dont grow and animals grow/spawn at a reduced rate as a higher difficulty for game+. --wild animals destroying crops if left unkilled for too long and not fenced off, fence not protecting from rats(?), but keeping larger animals out that would eat them. --add hireable npc (from docks?) to keep culling animal population.
I had a fullscreen option originally, but almost no browser supported it and it was wonky, so I removed it. The exe version of the game has a fullscreen option, but pressing f11 with the iframe window opened in a new tab is probably your best bet for fullscreen in the browser.
It requires 1 dragon. The counter that is actually a progress on the path to getting a single dragon (alchemist lab = 1, wyrm pen = 2, dragon hatched = 3)

--craftable transformation items to turn you into a better fighter unable to dig or better digger with very weak attacks for the duration or until rest; use dragonblood as fuel, not a component for alchemy. --lighthouse upgrade for the dock so ships from other islands can actually find you, know that there is a dock to visit and allow safe approach. --dawn for a brief period on surface after resting, infinite duration dusk after a set amount of minutes without rest, stamina drains faster during dusk.
