Real good game! I saw in the comments there is a downloadable version. Anybody know how to get it? I checked on steam but there was only a demo. I am wondering if there is a full game out now, because the full version on steam is not out.
You can get the demo from steam, gamejolt and itch, but the full version won't be out until early next year. We do plan to launch an early access version of the game in a few weeks though!

There's a bug with the Wyrm Drill. It worked great when I first altered a wyrm, and I have 2 block wide holes down into the depths to prove it. Now, when I try to drill, it randomly stops drilling at the worst times (usually when something is chasing me). It quits working in the middle of the same rock/dirt/whatever substance I've just been mining through with no problems. (Sometimes it won't even mine through topsoil.) All of a sudden as I'm mining, I hit what seems to be a wall, and then the wyrm drill will only drill if I change direction, and then only one block in the new direction before I have to change direction again to make it work. This leads to some very bizarre zigzag tunnels, and usually to my being killed by golems or being unable to uncover the thing in need underground. On my last trip down, it even mined a few isolated holes diagonally from where I was standing without mining the block right in front of me. And yes, the wyrm is fully fed, so it's not that.
I can't fix a bug I can't find - and I've drilled a LOT with the wyrm drill without this ever happening. Does it have something to do with your save in particular? If so, send it to me, otherwise see if you can figure out a consistent way to make the bug occur and describe the steps to do it.
Did you download the .asav file from here and drag it into the game window (or click the import game option to choose the file)? You can try sending me a link to the asav file and I can see if it's a problem with the file.

Exp is still a pain to get but I think I have found the best way to gain exp: max out attack then get a water chainsaw, it kills the golmech in 4 hits and you can gain a lot of exp but I still need a lot more so I can finish the quest to use 500 upgrade points.
You can actually already download the demo for mac on itch: https://fancyfishgames.itch.io/aground . The full version will continue to have mac builds.
The early access version will be available in July (you can already pre-order it on our website), but the full version probably won't be done until early next year!
There isn't a flame shield in game yet, but it's pretty easy to add as a mod! In the downloadable version of the game, in the data/mods folder, make a flame_shield folder and inside that folder save this: https://pastebin.com/YELeNAid as mod.xml, and it will load the flame shield into the game (you can make it at the forge once the mod is installed... or cheat to get it :P ).

It's a small thing, but is there any chance we can get an update to make the coin purse equip-able? It's annoying to store all your mats to have to fish it back out.
it has a function already built in to prevent this, just choose or hover cursor over an item in your inventory (coin purse in this instance) and simply press the "Q" key, this will "star" the item making it stick in your personal inv. now you may mass-transfer goods and the starred items will stay in your inventory. hope that helps.

@IShootFriendlies. the minimap called a map in game is an inventory item you find somewhere, forgotten where, assign it an inventory hotkey to use easily.

Terra0nova, uh, quick question: how do you mine the crystal bedrock-like blocks on the Magic Island? Am i missing something? Am i supposed to use the Wyrm Drill? Or is the answer in the next update?

@Sandlicker I had this problem aswell, when i was building boats on Sunset Haven. I had all the supllies, but when i clicked nothing happened. Then i found out i had like 3 boats on the left side XD (I wanted too see what was on the left side of Sunset Haven).

I am really enjoying this game and I think it is very well made, but... I did encounter a bug where the option to build a boat disappeared from the dock after getting the boat building quest. Now I am completely unable to build a boat despite having all of the supplies. It's disappointing and frustrating because I really wanted to see what else there was in the game!

Best game iv ever played on Kongregate without a doubt, 10/10. P.S: thnks for being an active responding developer. Beat the game in 2 days. (all endings)

I've done the Wyrm Hive quest for the alchemist, put all of the gems in the forges, but the alchemist has still not given me the next quest to research the Wyrms. I've actually done everything else in the game except the rest of the alchemist quests just because he won't even give me the next quest. If I talk to him, all he does is just give me tips about the forge. Please help

if anyone is wondering about the update, there is a new feature! in options click "gameplay options" you can turn on/off auto eat stamina and health food! I really hope for more settings in this menu!

I've come so far, only to see that I can't craft a boat at the Dockhouse! I have all the materials IN MY HANDS and whatnot. So yah. Fix it plz somehow. I might have messed up the game.

(Spoiler alert) I will give you begginers some tips: 1. Most importantly, watch your stamina when your begining your journey. Store things you dont need in your inventory for more space. 2. Get the backpack quickly. To get it, go all the way too the right side of the starting Island. You should see a cutscene and be greeted by the Hunter. Complete his first quest to get the backpack. 3. Get the Steel Pick as fast as possible. It mines fast and, most importantly, can mine stone. You gotta get the Workshop first though. 4. Get 5 gold ingots for the Trader when you finnally catch him stealing stuff from your Storehouse. You need a Steel Pick or Iron Pick too do this. 5. Mine some Diamonds. Go all the way too the bottom of the world. Then go 2 blocks up (Or more if you have upgraded your Sight) so you can see the greatest amount of blocks. This increases your chance of finding Diamonds. They sell for ALOT of coins at the Market. Get Super Pack quick!

IMO, there should be fog or something to indicate if you enter a loop above water. Also, the sail boat should be faster. Would you be willing to implement those please?

As much as I love playing the same levels / rounds over again & again.
I am not a Cloud person and there is NO .asau file on my system. Is it possible to figure out a 2nd save option. Using Fox to play the Game(s).
For some reason the Games no longer save that I play.

Go to options on the title page, and click export save, then click which slot you want to export. It should download a .asav file you can import later.

Start a new game if u lose the dragon. or spend 2 hours wandering thru the wyrm den maze to get back to the main island
