I finished the game on Kongregate but when i try to play it on Kartridge i get an error about some API.any way to fix this?i loved the game when i 1st played it and it got a ton of changes since than and i want to experience the new stuff on kartridge
On keyboard: use arrow keys to select the skill you want to allocate points to and hit left/right to allocate. With mouse: click the level you want. Note that you need enough skill points to select the level, and some skills (like attack) are expensive.

This game is absolutely the best on kongregate now. It's the most polished and the amount of work you've put in and the depth are astounding. Hats off to you Dev.

Huh, that line is the check for whether the kongregate API exists - I guess Kartridge doesn't have the kongregate API and doesn't like the way I check if the API exists (although it worked fine for me when I last checked). I'll change it for the next update.

What starts out as a fairly typical dig-n-build game unfolds into a larger story quickly. The crafting system is intuitive and has anatural progression. Growing the settlement starts out feeling like the whole island is covered but then you realize the potential beyond that. There are also secrets buried everywhere that careful exploration reveals and I can't want to see more of finished game!

I have played the game on Kongregate and it was great! However, I failed to load into the game on Kartidge with the error "ReferenceError: kongregateAPI is not defined"...

There are lots of positive reviews for this game. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them. For starters, the look of the game. I know that the low-res retro look is in, but it makes this game ugly and difficult to play. It literally hurt my eyes. The level of detail is a bit much. I appreciate thoroughness, but I do not want to grow my own sesame seeds so I can make a hamburger bun in the kitchen that we've just built. I just want my character to consume edibles so I can go about the more interesting business of the characters and story. I don't want to have a job in a game. I don't want to do housework, mining, cooking, gathering ingredients, etc... That's work, and there's plenty of it in our real lives. It's not fun, and we play games to get *away* from all that. The sad thing is that I'm actually intrigued by the story. I got far enough in to see that the developer has a cool concept, and I would like to know more -- just not enough to torture myself by playing this non-game.

Comment to sequin. The point of the game is to level up. secondly you just need a worm drill or get an adult dragon to save batteries

Exceptional game. The new additions have made this game even more fun with plenty to do and no grinding needed to get further.

I really loved the game, the only thing I could ask for are some QoL improvements. For instance linked storehouses or even better a new schematic that would allow you to build linked teleportation portals late game would be pretty cool since having to travel 2 maps and back to recharge your batteries before you can continue exploring the magic island gets tedious fast. Also it would be great if we could feed our pets food from our storehouse while we were in town, I'd even prefer having to build something over having to go through all the menus. Moving on, being able to scroll and (un)zoom the map would be really helpful especially on the maze map. Finally., I think the weight part of the skill tree might need some rebalancing. As it stands, maxing it out would take 920 skill points for 100 extra weight when the jetpack has carry 200, which makes it unreasonable even for a packrat like me. Having the cost be fixed and/or the weight gain be % based would make it scale better late game.
Teleportation portals are already possible in the early access version of the game (where there are a lot more islands so it is a lot more necessary). Linked storehouses is a possibility too, but with teleportals it's not really needed. I might make it possible to feed pets from the storehouse if you are near it, but it'd be a bad idea to be able to feed them anywhere on the island (especially underground). An upgraded map has been suggested before and it's on my maybe list, there are just some potential issues I have to work through (like spoilers on the surface which doesn't have fog of war currently). The weight is cumulative, so 200 carry jetpack + 50 base + 100 from skill points lets you carry 350 weight, but it does take a lot of skill points. I'll reduce the increasing cost per level of weight so that it stays useful later on.
There are some side quests and secret areas, but that's the end of the demo - we have about twice that content in the current early access version, and are continually adding more!

Great Pixle game! I love the progression and the characters. Good storyline and attention to detail with the graphics.

Oh gosh, keep on going with this, 'cause it's GREAT! It's not for everyone, as any other game, but god i am enjoying it

A very nice and entartaining game. I like a lot the big amount of possibilities to grow your town and build your character.

Very fun RPG game with pixel styles. But a bit confused for the latter part when discovered new the new island. More difficult.
