I haven't played in a while, but I gave it another go. I don't think there's a better UI in any idle or incremental game. Every time you want to interact with an item you can immediately equip it or sell it, there's plenty of auto sell options, and the game makes every opportunity to display the information you need.
I haven't gotten very far, but it's obvious a lot of work was put into the player's interaction with the game.

@Naud1234 Yes, the museum is extremely long to complete. I beat last boss after 55 days, now it's 100 days I'm playing and I finished to donate from level 1 to 8. The main issue is the ressources... Starting level 6, the ressources are very long to get, so it takes a while to forge everything. If I can give one advice, always enable the booster!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
They should have really made the museum available since the beginning instead of when you can craft level 9 items. I've already sold all items up to level 8 except level 8 epic items and now I have to craft one of each item again. And that would only be 1/11th anyway. You need to donate not just every rarity of every level of every item, but also every possible forge "level". That's gonna take extremely long and it's really annoying. One item of each rarity and level would be plenty. And being able to donate an item you no longer need would go a long way to completing it by just playing the game.

It'd be nice if the items get mastered automatically when the mastering cost reaches 0. Otherwise the game spends all night using resources (maybe even stalling) when it could be crafting the item for free with double odds for higher rarity.

I beat the 8th boss (Krakoptopus) with Beorn (1), Zoe (2), Neve (1) and Revere (2). Numbers are spellbook numbers. Only Beorn and Zoe died. I used level 8 epic items and a level 9 Healthy Trinket for Beorn and level 9 Powerful Trinkets for the rest.

game stats are a little wrong... it's reporting that my lifetime gold earnings are a bit over half of what i have.... on hand.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Something I would like to suggest is the ability/option to break finished items down for their base materials. So, you lose the item (and probably some gold), and get some amount of whatever material is used to make it. Amounts would probably vary depending on the rarity of the item (commons produce the least, epics produce the most).
It gets really grindy at the end; I am literally waiting HOURS just to get enough materials that I can forge/donate an item.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game starts off fairly fast, but ends up being a waiting game. I have it open and occasionally come back for a minute to fuse a few items or to craft different items. Although crafting different items is a hassle if my inventory has filled up and I have to decide what to sell.

Point of data: For me, from boss 1 defeated to museum/impossible badge completion was just under 92 days, with relatively moderate activity (higher early on). Takes awhile, but may be faster than e.g. idling to rule the gods impossible badge with similar activity.

Larger teams are always better in expeditions. With 8 heroes Forbidden Bookstore takes 4 days and 19 hours. With 4 heroes it takes 15,965 days and 11.5 hours! Almost 44 YEARS!!! That's a difference of 3,332 times with only double the heroes! ALWAYS use all your heroes if you don't need them anywhere else.

@knives New characters and playbook side quests are bought in the market. Complete the quests in the town's expedition center to unlock them. Once unlocked, you can choose what playbooks are being used in the adventure section when picking characters by first selecting the character, then clicking the button in the upper right part of their picture in the party section to see playbooks.

I have a question... I am at the final boss and a combination being recommended includes 'Cedric with Righteousness, Zoe with Meteor, Grogmar with Snipe, Troy with Rejuvinate' what are those and where can I find them?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Selling items to the merchant gets you double the gold, but if you need to forge something, you actually get way less gold if you include the cost to forge it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Naud1234 Yep. The museum does create a bonus, but I think it opens way too late in the game to be tremendously useful. I've already beaten the final boss, so I just have two level 10 items running on sell all while I forge one of each item that uses a drop type. Donations speed up my forging, and thus my income...but it would've been so much more useful early on to have somewhere to dump all of my hard work.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Instead of donating all the existing items, which you have to re-craft after being forced to sell them for inventory space, it would be better to give a badge for crafting all items once. Do you seriously have to donate all the different forge levels too for each item?

I decided to just leave the game running in the background to keep the trinket research going. Researching slowly is 10 times cheaper than researching instantly by the way.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Trinkets keep disabling on me when I leave the game. I have enough gold to complete the research (1.37 T) yet it keeps disabling when the passive cost is only 145 M.

Have been playing this for a while, and have a request for @akerson. should be an easy UI fix. When you enchant an item, the buttons for 'what can I do with this' slide down a bit. It's annoying to have to scroll for 'donate to museum' - since you have to do this hundreds of times. If you put the 'sell one' and 'sell all' buttons on the same row, there would be a little more vertical room

For Lich King fight, Caeda is key., She allows focus fire on larry jr. rather then the default front most. Larry jr has low hp, and a nasty AoE. I had Lambug front, Grogmar, Caeda, Troy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have upgraded my characters as far as they go and I still can't kill the Lich King. WTF. All of it is max epic +3 which is the best I can get. This game is lame and retarded. There is no strategy to beat the boss either, I can't change targets and focus on the Lich King.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I really don't see how the inventory limit improves the game. Sometimes I want to craft other items, but I first need to get rid of items I'm still busy fusing.

Was struggling to beat Boss #4, until I read another poster's advice to use all moxie on that level. Well, it worked. But why? The hero/monster stats don't make sense to me in terms of strategy, but I may be missing something.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Trinkets are crazy. Mine cost 3.4 million coins to craft, yet I can sell them for only 160 coins, but the trinket says the recipe is worth 40 coins. Don't leave those trinkets on overnight. You only need as many as the amount of heroes you have.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I beat boss 6 (Cinder Phoenix) with Zoe (Catastrophe), Neve (Icy Embrace), Troy (Light Hug) and Alok (Song Of Life). All with epic level 6 items. No forging necessary.

Expeditions give a massive amount of coins, so if you're crafting mastered items, you might as well go on an expedition.

@Terastas: How can there be paywall if you can't pay? It is grindy though and there's a lot of waiting, but you can wait while the game is closed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It may not have microtransactions, but it sure has a lot of paywalls and difficulty spikes as if it's going to have them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's a really nice UI and well designed game initially and good to see no microtransactions. Unfortunately, the game is really a good 5 minute game which has been copied and pasted 10 times with exponentially increasing time and resource costs for everything: crafting, forging, upgrading, battling, gathering.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The Trinket research enable button goes disabled when we go out of the game. Why? It should stay enabled to speed up things.

I wouldn't mess with autoclickers. I got banned in another game for using an autoclicker. My excuse is that it was tedious to click every few seconds to start the next fight. It wasn't a cookie clicker clone where clicking faster gives you more points or money. In this case it's about abusing a bug. Although seeing as it's not a predatory microtransaction filled game, the creator probably won't care too much if people progress a little faster since there's no money to be earned by selling boosters anyway.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Boost isn't drained when cancelled before 1 second has passed. This can be used for infinite boost if you want to bother with a timed auto clicker or a tedious amount of manual clicking.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I really like how this game doesn't have microtransactions. A lot of idle games on Kongregate have microtransactions nowadays. Although the downside is that the creator is only earning €44 per month from this game from 11 patrons on Patreon.

I'd prefer a fusion queue since I don't wanna keep coming back every few minutes or play it for hours a day while watching YouTube videos at the same time on another screen.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I can see the grind to max out trinkets is gonna take awhile, 745 million for lvl 6 powerful trinket, for anyone wondering what I'm on about you have to unlock the tinker hut to make them
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The boss should be easily beatable if you spend a bunch of time to max out every item (epic +6). It shouldn't even be a problem. Not only is it grindy, it's still hard even when maxed out? I seem to be making decent progress, but if it keeps taking longer, how long do all 10 levels/bosses take?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Google really is your friend, someone on reddit says to use Beorn, Titus (second spec), Grogmar, and Troy to beat the 6th boss Cinder Phoenix. I got through in 1 try with epic +6 level 5 equipment

@ANBU0313 a cursory glance tells me why. They've posted 13 times in the last few days, most of which is just random information about where they are in the game or a passing thought. There's useful information in some of the posts, but people will mark a good number of them negatively by seeing it as spamming the comments. Personally see it more as excitement since it's actual game discussion, but some people don't need more than a number of posts in a period.

Selecting a single hero for expeditions shows me that it would take 286,598 days to finish the expedition and I'd get 80 billion gold. That's 785 years. 2 heroes reduces it to 15 minutes. Seems legit. Although the gold does go down to 10k.

Can someone give some advice about how to beat boss 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10? I beat the first few by luck and after that I started reading their skills but they confuse me
