@krad
if taken out of context, your comment would be outright batshit-crazy .. good job
well I've beaten career but I agree that the challenges are annoying as hell

The experiences of others seems to match my own. It's one thing to say "Have one bot follow another." It's quite enough to perform that command and watch your bot uselessly wander in circles, getting in each other's way, while the computer opponents efficiently and effectively demolish you.

challenge 4 is easy...just put shield following dragon and move sword to shoot dragon when the dragon is shooting at the shield...quite simple really

Aside from bot controls needing severe improvement, this is a sound game. Some lack in diversity on the weapon's part (arm up and you can take down anything) and bad controls = 3/5.

Zoellc the challenges are not luck they are about the parts on your robots and you can click your bot then click on an enemy bot to make your bot attack it I know im a fan of Bot Arena games

It may seem challenge 4 is luck but for any skilled RTSer that can micro manage anything to death it is not too big of a problem. I had tried countless times before. Recently after a reload of Starcraft and some honing of skills I came back for round 307. After a few tries I managed to beat it. The most annoying thing about it is the turning of the bots and this can be compensated... sometimes. But seeing where the dragon is going and pathing your shield and sword is necessary. I had either on opposite sides of the dragon to keep the shield from hindering my sword's shots. GL to all those still weeping over this badge.

If somehow the shield is too far apart from your sword and the dragon is still attacking your shield, MOVE your shield close to your sword! Then move the shield 1 cm at a time along with your sword. At the end, depending how well you do and also your luck, the dragon should be dead and you'll complete Stage 4. Good Luck!

YES! FINALLY! Mechanical Samadhi Badge (hard – 30 points)
Be one with the robots. Master control of them, and complete all 7 challenges in Bot Arena 3
You acquired this badge on Jun. 23, 2008.
Challenge 4 IS possible! The reason why the dragon hits your sword is when your shield gets too close to the dragon. Then it changes it's target to your sword. Move both your shield and sword 1 cm each move. The sword does NOT have to be behind the shield. Just as long as you move the shield first and the sword second. After that, the shield will start going closer to the dragon which will be a problem. The solution is this: Move the sword 1 cm back and then the shield 1 cm back. Now the dragon should still be attacking the shield. At the same time, your sword should be attacking the dragon.

Challenge 4 is just frustrating. Either increase the swords maneuverability or its dps, I've had the shield die first countless times by now, but the sword didn't do its fsckin job in the meantime.
