controls are horrendous and this is especially evident in the challenges how poor controls ruin everything, I click on my robot to go somewhere yet it simply gets stuck and blown to simitherines
I got the first two badges based on money and tech alone.

Absolutely terrible. Hopeless controls and absolutely braindead AI. I don't mind one or the other, but both just completely kills this game. As a result the difficulty curve is ridiculous, it takes a dozen replays of mission three to get two bots good enough to have a chance at mission 4. The upgrade control system is unneccesarily complicated, havign to dismount stuff to remount other stuff. I could go on for a while.
But mainly I'm just wondering why this piece of junk ever got badges in the first place.

The only reason the challenges are any challenge at all is because the controls are awful. The concepts are trivial. Implementing them are 65% luck and 35% where you click and drag. Click and drag... seriously? I do like the game and concept in general, but it shouldn't be hard due to poor controls.

This would be a four or five star game if the controls actually worked. How did this mess get any badges at all? Why revisit it and give it badge of the day? Embarrassingly bad.

Its not that hard when you figure out that you are given a lot of room for error. For instance, on challenge four, you can have your soldier doing nothing half the time and still win as long as the shield is by the dragon.

I originally rated this 1/5 a year ago. It's still a 1/5, with the world's worst control system ever. Badge of the day just reminds me what a badly designed game this was.

Great potential but completely ruined by the dumb as rocks ai. The enemy ai goes all out but the players bots ai is messed up big time.

I agree, with the comments here: these controls are horrible. This would be a good game if you could use the keyboard. As it is, the controls are clonky and it is difficult to focus on one robot, let alone 2 or 3.

Even though the bots are near impossible to control, I think my favorite part of the game is when the bots go in the complete opposite direction from the one they were ordered to.

The AI systems in this game are horrible! I want a robot to shoot at a specific target but instead it can only follow it, then the second robot follows him and my robot starts shooting at it. I never knew robots were so stupid before this game.

If you would like a real life version of this game just get two roomba cleaning robots and put them in a small room and tahdah!!!!

Love how the bots die and there is no going around them. now my bot is stuck in a corner and this game is now watching two bots do a never ending stare down while the evil music slowly eats my sanity away.

Horrific Controls, but worse than that, the robots ignore your commands anyway. Mix the two and it's almost not worth bothering.

challenge 6 is super easy ..drag soldier to follow the commander.. micro the medic to follow the soldier... if soldier went too far ahead for medic to heal... simply drag soldier back to medic...

challenge 4 drag shield to follow dragon and micro the sword... keep the sword away from the dragon until the shield closes in. the dragon will try to run away from the shield. that's when u attack with the sword. but remember to drag the sword away once the shield gets too close cuz the dragon's range is 50-200 i think.. if the dragon can't shoot the shield it'll shoot the sword

I thought dragoon ai was bad or maybe scarab ai. Nope, I hope you know that if I ever meet you in real life I'm going to seriously injure you for not fixing the simple control problems in this game.

The controls are terrible. I should be able to press 1-5 and click somewhere to order a "Go to"/follow command. The AI is horrible in many aspects from how they react to collisions to something simple as turning left or right. There were multiple times were I tried to move someone to another part of the screen and instead of turning to that direction, the bot turned the opposite direction, hit a wall, and started acting like a horrible driver trying to parallel park a car in a tiny space. Better AI and controls would turn this 2/5 into a 5/5.

Great Game and all, but you really do need to add better controls to this game. You have to constantly put down commands or you lose on most challenges too.i know they are supposed to be "challenging" and all, but please make them a little less challenging.It is very hard to control the shield in (I believe) the fourth challenge and it keeps running off to some other place while I move my mouse to the sword for just a split second, and I lose. Please rate + so the developer will see this.

So challenge 4 is probably the worst setup ever. The dragon ignores the shield until the sword is dead and if the sword hides behind the shield, he just shoots his shield. Then, if the sword dies, it take the dragon like an hour to kill the shield.

Could have been amazing (>5 / 5), but the challenges are almost unplayable with the design of the controls.
Easy ways to fix it:
1) Allow basic commands like move-to, attack, hold-position, follow, etc...
2) Add in a few new AI-schemes like "ranged-attacker" "melee-attacker" "healer" that can be toggled by the player prior to battle.
3) Add the option to turn auto-roaming off

('bout challenge 4) the idea of tanking in this game is actually pretty cool but in most of tank-containing games there're spells or skills, which get the attention of the enemy, or there's some kind of a tactic screen, in this game there're only a few commands and a cursor, so it's nearly immposible to use tank
