Need suicide button !!!!!!!!!!!
when you have a robot with hight hp ,no attack ,another bot with low hp but can attack and your bot with low hp die you just have to wait a lot of time !!! that`s not funny !

Out of curiousity, has anyone actually -evaded- those bots in challenge 2? Have those bots given up for anyone like challenge 2's startup screen says they eventually do?

Finally i got it, with both my shield and sword alive. I had my shield go out to the middle first, then just as the dragon is in range of it i had it start following the sword, moving the sword right after that in position to shoot. After that just keep trying to circle the enemy bot. GL

to expand on GPK_smurf's strategy, it seems good to have the shield follow the sword but try to go in a circle just out of reach of the dragon. Try to make sure you get a shot on the dragon every time he gets a shot on your shield. I had 2 shots on him left when my shield died, and i ended up just needing one more.

OK, so I wrote a comment before supporting this game when a lot were dogging on it. That was before I tried out challenge mode. I still ike it, but GD, are those bots stupid!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The career was fun, the challenges not so much. Frustrating is a better term for them. I think simply increasing the damage your bots did would make it much better. Having to hit each enemy bot 20 times or more is just annoying and increases the chances of your bot(s) doing something stupid and causing a loss.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The second challenge was annoying. The enemies will catch you somehow while you're turning, and eventually you'll die. You need to give us a stronger gun for that challenge.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like this game. But the challenges are quite annoying, basically a lot of running away and hitting from range. I didn't need to use any of these strategies to complete the normal game (didn't realise you could command robots until after I'd finished).

for the 4th challenge, get shield to follow sword and keep moving the sword so that the shield is blocking the dragon
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
not to bad but the puppy in a room of jackhammer was kind of annyoing because of the bad ai control if you make onther make arrow key controls
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I found the easiest way to finish challenge 4 to make SHIELD follow DRAGON and then you control SWORD to hit DRAGON while its shooting the SHIELD.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
control and ai are really bad, otherwise it's fine. the challenges are more frustrating that fun though, which games shouldn't be
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Stupid AI, concept is great, controls are not so good, especially challenge 5, the pursuers seem to go faster than the one being pursued.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
After playing more of the game: the AI sucks. the control for bots suck. the challenges are the most bs shit ever. I'll give it that it's a great concept, but thats all it has going for it. This game is unbelivably frustrating.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For 5 I used the same strategy as 2. Head towards the bottom Right, then double back to the bottom center, then bottom left, then left center (before getting into the corner). Essentially you're forming a bad oval. Now if I can just beat the stupid challenge 4
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For challenge 5, just work around the edges, keeping your distance and outrunning the bad guys. It'll take a few times, but stay at the edges and you'll get it soon enough.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
That said, still too tough because controls aren't too great. AI issues less important if bot control was better. How about 1 click on a bot puts into "close" follow mode, 2nd click puts into "range" mode, 3rd click puts into "evade" mode. Also, rather than click and drag, how about click to highlight bot, then click at a spot where the bot will go. Even better how about direct control of bot using arrow keys?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Allehluia! Finally beat the freaking game. Seriously, just tweak the AI a little bit and you got yourself a 6/5, but I'll have to give you 3/5 for now
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the WINNING strategy for EVERY level is simple. ALL your bots ALWAYS attack one bot at a time. Simply position them to attack the weakest bot every time, kill it first, then team up on the next weakest, etc... I won almost every single match straight through the first time I played this game... *yawn*
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For challenge 4/dragon, key is that the dragon won't shoot at things too close to it. If you lock your shield onto the dragon, the dragon will destroy your sword. Let the shield wander and keep your sword behind it. If you get close to a wall, run like heck.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Agree. POS. Evade challenge is a joke. Got down to 1 bot left to kill, my bot "took a nap" and wouldn't move. Bot came and crushed it. What a joke.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
yeah.... seriously. the AI is really bad. Like for instance, when I tell my bots to go somewhere else it takes them forever to figure out which direction to turn to get to where I want them to go, and by then its too late, I need them to go somewhere else. Also, it's extremely annoying that the bots don't ever stop moving.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The concept is great but peoples rants about the AI aren't unwarranted. Shooting the bot that yours are either targeting or nearest too should be common sense but it's not.
Target assignment beyond "follow" would be a nice fix.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good game, but challenge mode is a crap representation of the skills needed in career. Bots have a far too slow reaction to instructions given. Speed it up for us 'Waste'.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Challenge 4 seems to be ridiculously luck-based. Whether I'm manually controlling both sword and shield, or just locking onto the dragon with the shield, and manually controlling the sword, the dragon ignores the shield about a good 1/2 of the time, and immediately nails the sword as soon as it's within firing range. I get the point of the exercise, but it's executed in such a manner that the real lesson here is that the AI is so abysmal that what could be a good game is merely playable, and not even that at times.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is so freaking frustrating. I can't do the stupid challenges because I can't get the terrible AI to do what I want it to.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ugh, terrible game. The AI is not smart enough to do anything strategic so you have to constantly tell every bot exactly what to do, the bots react way too slowly, no hold command, and you cant tell the bots who to shoot, making it INCREDIBlY frustrating and not very strategic. Also, when stuff gets more expensive, the weight should go down, not up.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
1/5 from me.
Fix the game. Every challenge was based on luck and very little skill what-so-ever. If your definition for the word "Challenge," is
that every little thing about your bots is AI controlled, EXCEPT moving to a certain spot, then you really need to rethink things. Career badges can stay, but unless you fix the challenges, then that one should be removed, thrown in a pit of burning lava, then have the ashes buried somewhere where they'll never be found.
Nice idea, but poorly executed.
