giga that is impossible, you probably mistook a piece of armor or weapon, otherwise they would both simultaneously shoot if they entered the same area

Can't seem to get the 4th challenge... They gave the opponent bot a weapon with a minimum range :-(... makes it extremely frustrating.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Distracting is next to impossible. Before the dragon dies your shield will end up going past his minimum range often enough so that the sword dries.

I still love this game, although not tried the challenges yet, just career mode. I've finished it once, happy to try it again, because it was on a different pc. 5/5 Glad the card is on this one :o)

I won't be getting the second hard badge... just too frustrating, it seems to me that even some Korean Starcraft-gosu would have his problems =<

1/5, incredibly stupid AI. I had two bots on half a life against ONE with a third, and he had exactly same parts as mine did. I lost.

I BEAT IT AND NO DAMN BADGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I kinda... got DISCONNECTED when attaining a certain challenge level (guess which). I hate this game for that and its challenges, 2/5 (4/5 if it wouldn't have the challenges OR better controls).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Found the answer to #4 - heavier chassis don't do any good at lighter weights. You need the extra bot.
A better euipment interface - sorting chassis, plating & compnents separately - would make it a lot easier.

i think you are better off, starting a challenge 2billion times and never watching or trying to control your bots in the hopes that some random even causes you to win. it is extremely frustrating trying to maneuver these retarded bots.

And why are all the "arenas" just flat squares? How about some different shapes, different obstacles, different elevations?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The challenges are irritating. Ranged and Evasion are exactly the same... just keep using the shotty controls to dodge short-range enemies with frustratingly high armor and HP. Interesting premise, but in a game where design is more important than interaction it'd make more sense to make challenges a little more forgiving. Maybe even take them in the other direction and have the player design a team under certain restrictions and give them no control over the robots at all.

Not bad, it was a good attempt to have AI so you don't have to constantly worry about precisely controlling each unit, but the fact that they run into walls and are stupid gets irritating. If you plan on a future game, maybe think of some environmental hazards or different level layouts.

I feel like it's a little too much grinding, but it's good otherwise.
Maybe if this was more like mechwarrior (tons of good parts, great combos, but low attach points) I'd rate it higher.

absolutely the worst control setup ever. thumbs down. great concept, poor implementation. clicking and 'attempting' to drag your bots is ok, but they should stay put once the command is done, not start wondering around.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The biggest problem with the challenges is there is no penalty for heavy armor. You'd think you'd be faster if you have lighter armor, but no. So you can't outmanuever when you're outnumbered and have to hope you get lucky with the stupid enemy AI.
This is so frustrating because the kernel of a great game is here, but the actual implementation isn't very good.

the mechanical samadi badge should be changed to f***ing stupid badge on most of the challenges it involves you avoiding the other bots but there faster than you its stupid

The "AI" sucks. Let me tell my 'bots what to shoot at, not just what to follow.
Completing career mode is very easy. Just keep pimping out your machines; replay previous levels to get the cash.
The challenges are mostly way too hard relative to the career mode, especially the "sword and shield".
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Career mode is alright, and then you try the challenge, which just massivly shows the flaws in the AI completely. I don't quite understand the point of the items you get after completing career mode? theres no reason to carry on playing after that point. Kept me busy at work though ;)

I sometimes wonder if game creators play through their own games or just play to look if it works.
bad AI, bad control, way too hard chllenges.
And some actions cause game crash for me.
--> 1/5

got the challenge badge ... this is what i did with the 4# :
just move like crazy the shield behind the dragon and with the sword chase the shield , just make sure to keep moving the 2 of them. ^ ^ GL
P.D : nice game but robs just dont listen to the click xD 3/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Very touchy on the following target to just moving where the target was.
Playing the same levels over and over to build up cash seems a waste of time - should be some other way to do it.

I agree with SethBlack. While I enjoy the game and can deal with the random movement in the campaign, having to keep retrying the challenges until I get lucky enough to survive is really frustrating. Especially in the more lengthy ones like puppy.

Fun, not really difficult, but entertaining. And I like customizing. It may need some more items though. It keeps me entertained and I like the badges and card challenges. It's mainly an equipment game, but playing with strategy is fun sometimes too.
