Challenges 4-6 are so frustrating. I should probably stop before i really go mad and never play this game. Even though this game is a pretty good game(reminds me of a show i use to watch where there were robots with meele weapons fighting each other control by their users). Too bad they stop.

Aye, that was how I eventually got lucky and did it. Most of the time though, I'd tell Shield to move somewhere and he decided he'd rather hump Dragon or the corner, thereby getting Sword killed.

For challenge 4, try to have your Shield always move the same direction that the Dragon is moving, but keep it a slight distance away so that it can draw its fire, then move your Sword just into range and fire away. Took a few tries, but that was how I beat it.

-loses on challenge four over and over- "STOP NO DON'T GO THERE NO MOVE HERE NO NOT THERE WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU SHOOT IT YOU MORON NO NOT THERE ARGH I HATE THIS!"

I finally beat challenge 4 and what helps is to have the shield follow the sword and control the sword to be just outside the dragon's range. When the dragon is coming toward your bots, send the sword diagonally backwards so that the shield is always closer but the sword can still fire over its shoulder. Watch the small 'bump' on the front of the sword's chassis to know which way it's turning so you can change its direction before it runs into the dragon like an idiot. This took many tries, but it's the best strategy I found.

very funny. I bought some new weapon and mounted it to my bots, next fight i have to realize, that it's some kind of "healing beam". now the only two bots on the field heal each other constantly, but can't shoot. so the fight gos forever and there's no button for throwing the towel...

Bad thing about the "Follow Bot" Command is that if a bot meant for distraction gets right up next to the bot it's supposed to be distracting, it may be TOO close to distract it, and it may shoot at the bot you're trying to protect anyway.

Finally completed challenge 4, one of the most annoying things I have ever played, specially when sword dies in 5 secs and u need guide shield to death or wait a lot (no restart button). Man, these bots have no AI, have AS (artificial stupidity). I even lost a bunch of tries because, instead of follow my orders instantly, the bot needs to think about it, than make a long turn for the other side, and then go to where I have clicked. Anyway, a tip: order sword to follow shield, so u need to control just 1 bot.

for challenge 4: forget having the shield follow dragon.. it always stays too close to the dragon and you get killed.. instead have the shield follow the sword and have the sword continually retreat from the dragon in a big circle. this way only took me like 5 tries

These challenges are a joke with such poor controls. There's a reason almost 10x as many people have gotten the career mode badge.

Challenge 4 is way too difficult compared to the others. It could be made more reasonable by providing the dragon with a gun that works at closer ranges. This would make it spend more time shooting at the shield rather than the sword.

I hate challenge 4. At first I thought to myself "this will be easy, just keep the shield closer to the dragon than the sword." But of course that doesn't work cause the dragon seems to attack them totally random!!!

Here are some flaws of the challenges i observed... Challenge 1 is ok... Challenge 2: too many enemies can corner you and u all just have the same speed so its pretty hard to evade the enemies, a stronger weapon to make it shorter could be good. Challenge 3 is ok... Challenge 4: the sword is too weak to atleast survive from 10 attacks while u have to give orders to the shield almost every time of the battle to move near the dragon but not to near. Challenge 5: just like challenge 2 except that it could be fixed if enemy had weaker armor. Challenge 6 is ok same is Challenge 7. the real problem is the controls... why not just have the robots not moving unless u give them orders? hope that if there will be bot arena 4 this problems are fixed. it seems that the challenges are built for elite type gamers instead of average gamers like myself

Even if you give a straight order saying to follow an enemy, your robot doesn't just follows it and fires, sometimes they aim other enemies randomly...

the hard badge is more like impossible to me cause of crappy controls... i mean the commander had about 10 shots of life left when i ordered my medic to go behind the soldier it went in front and got owned by the commander...

This is how flawed Challenge 4 is:
The Dragon has a minimum range, under which it cannot fire. Your Sword also has this minimum range. So for the Sword to engage the Dragon, it is also vulnerable to the Dragon's attacks. When you use the Shield to distract the Dragon, it often wanders into the Dragon's minimum range, at which point the Dragon switches to the next target it can engage within its range, which happens to be the Sword.
In other words, the very act of using Shield to distract the Dragon often leads to the Dragon deciding to concentrate on Sword instead.

i pretty much hate this game, my bots just do whatever it takes to be destroyed and they always miss and the opponent never misses

The career mode is fun because you can just build up super robots and overpower the enemies. The challenge mode is incredibly frustrating because you are hampered by poor robot AI. It became a battle of fighting the game design at this point.

the compter ai is better than yours so if you have better stuff sometimes you still lose team 1
2 guns both the same team 2 to gun same as team one and one bot has weaker armor= oh shit i lost but my stuff was better
