Okay Challenge 4 is a real pisser especially with the goddamn "shit-for-brains" controls of this game. There are two things to understand if you want to beat it: 1)The moment you let the dumbass AI take over (GOD I WISH THERE WAS A WAY TO DISABLE IT) the movements of your most important bot you are DEAD. 2) The "dragon" bot shoots at the CLOSEST target it is able to BUT -=*the "dragon" bot has a MINIMUM RANGE to fire and will not shoot at the "shield" bot when the shield bot is right next to the dragon bot*=-.

So this is what you do: Set the shield bot to follow the dragon bot during the countdown and leave it at that. It's hard enough micromanaging one bot with this game's piece-of-shit controls. Keep the "sword" bot well out of range and keep it out of range until the dragon bot starts firing on the shield bot. When the dragon bot starts firing on the shield bot, move the sword just within range to get a few shots off on the dragon safely. The dragon bot will keep firing on the shield bot until the dragon bot runs into a wall or changes directions in a way that puts the shield bot right next to the dragon bot. Once shield bot is too close for the dragon bot to fire on it, the dragon bot will try to acquire a new target and you better hope you have your sword bot well out of the way before that happens.

Opoliteo, challenge 2 is easy, just keep moving around in circles by the edge of the map... however, challenge 4 is impossible >.< don't know how anyone was able to beat it really =/

well, i was really pissed off at this game b/c it sucks and the controls are aweful, but im in a much lighter mood now cuz i just got the two hard badges, so im not going to rant about all of its faults. Still this doesnt change my rating, 1/5 but id give it a 0/5 if i could

This game is pointless. The career mode is simple repetition and there is almost no strategy to it. What strategy there is (the actual battles) are hampered by a TERRIBLE control system. The bots default is wandering around aimlessly, and you can only send them to a single waypoint, once they reach it they resume wandering, you cannot target enemies, only set you bot to follow them. The Distraction Challenge is a perfect example of how broken this control system is. A good idea is ruined by bad execution, I hope they make a sequel that corrects the problems.

Beat Challenge 4... I had the sword follow the sheild and had to control the sheild really well; still a very tough challenge. -
PS Vigilante's comment a couple pages ago about challnge 4 only being intended for Korean starcraft grandmasters is fantastic.

Also, a big update that would make this game better is that you can shoot through your team mates, and you can go over corpses... or they disintegrate..

The game is good, if simplistic. But the challenges are just stupid. They make no sense and really aren't that much fun, especially after dumping time into beating career.

Good game but would be much better if the career mode had more than just "buy the latest and greatest and unleash" for strategy. More than just the range-power trade-off is needed to create strategy. Multiple types of weaponry, styles of robots, maybe speed vs weapon power, etc. As much as the career mode is easy, the challanges are hard. Probably because I'm trying to play them with a touch pad on a laptop. :)

lol, i did 4 now like 100 times and once i nearly had it. Sadly the enemy always shoots faster when u come in range, than ur bots :(

I bought two "medical" components and I'm now watching my bots regenerating and never die =), you should verify that there is something lethal at least one in their equipment.

Maybe a way to restart/quit a round? Forfeit? I hate doing challenge 4 and waiting for my shield to die after my sword gets pwnt by randomness. Friggin 3/5 till you fix this crap.
