in the original game, your bots used to be just as dumb as the AI, you sat back and hoped for the best...when there was a change so that the person could control the bot, it made the game to easy, even though less frustrating

AI is wayyyyyyy to bad,u tell it to follow them and it gos right next to them so they cant shoot and if theirs another enemy close they will shoot them instead of the "target"

Finally finished all badges for this one. The challenges were tough (as their name implies), but all were possible. As most have said, the "Shield and Sword" challenge is definitely the most difficult, but it it was made completable for me by some generous advice in these comments. Everything here is ultimately a game of micromanagement, but there is some fun to be had in the not-too-difficult campaign.

I want so very badly to love this game. But after spending more than four hours with it, I have no choice but to agree with so many others: the bots are retarded. Their pathfinding and AI is ridiculous. What was such an excellent game in theory is killed by the horrible behaviour of the bots.

1)yay i won
2)needs direct control of bots, in other words i want to be the one shooting w/ the mouse to get rid of accuracy problem

ARGH. Finally beat challenge. Had problems with level 5 more than anything, til I realised all I had to do was go in a really big *square* rather than a circle like level 2.

The main game basically plays itself - just buy the heaviest two bots that you can enter into the contest and make them gang up on one of the opponents, then sit back. I like the idea behind the challenges but I wish there was a way to make the bots stay still sometimes, other than when they get stuck. And the challenges really highlight the fact you really dont need any strategy to beat the normal mode.

chall 4 is beatable, stop complaining people just because its too hard for u.
USE this method:

challenge 4 is kinda hard without understanding how it works. Dragon will shoot the nearest bot within its range. Its range does not start from 0 so if you put shield is right next to dragon or very close to it, dragon will not shoot shield. So knowing this, my strategy is to put shield on follow dragon, and move sword just outside the shooting range. Whenever shield is moving behind dragon, and dragon is shooting shield comfortably, I move in sword into the shooting range and move it parallel to dragon until dragon is going to hit a wall, because you know then shield will run too close for dragon to shoot. Repeat this a few times and you will get your badge!

I can't figure out challenge 4 or 6.
Both apparently require more micromanagement of all the bots than is humanly possible vs a computer.
Otherwise an interesting game.

If AI wasn't so bad, melee robots might actually stand a chance. Right now they spend more time trying to get to their target than actually fighting. Otherwise the game is great, though.

as many have mentioned, the AI is beyond awful, i like trying to follow a bot and having my command get ignored
*watches as my bot runs away and gets blown up for the 30th time*

challenges 4 and 5 need major reconsideration, that will definitely bring down my rating to 2/5, or at least beg to have the challenges badge impossible
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
challenge 4 isn't impossible...you just have to make sure the shield is closer to the dragon than your sword but not too close cause the dragon has a minimum range and if your shield is within that range the dragon will shoot your sword instead...only problem is that the bots are so hard to control...

I don't know if anyone else has come across it yet, but I've uncovered an inherent fault in the last challenge.
