Ultimately the game will be abandoned and then people will sue for all the real money they lost.
I can already see a lot of angry and nasty comments in the comments section and that won't get better unless the game is made to be less greedy and demanding of the player.
In economical terms i'll put it like this.
1000 dollars out of one idiot stupid enough to pay to progress per 1000 people who will never pay.
1000 people paying 20 dollars because they believe they will get value for their money at 20,0000 dollars and one idiot who pours 1000 dollars into it anyway because they want to be the bestest.
which one seems to make more sense?
I don't usually take the time to write this sort of thing but I've followed kongregate probably since it began from way back (i think maybe newgrounds era) and I appreciate all the hard work they've put in over the years.

The rest appear to be scam buys that don't promise anything worth money.
Gems that will maybe get you one card that you can use.
Packs that will maybe get you a card that you can use.
Boosters that only last a couple of days for a lot of money.
100 giggywatt things for a 100 gems (thats not a fair conversion).
Then of course the pay immense amounts of real money in the hope that you will get a legendary card.
I understand that the dev's need to get paid and all that but people are growing wise to all of these ploys and this can have a serious negative impact on everyone involved.
I just think that it's silly to demand so much for so little and have no way (other than spending years) to progress through the game.

I'm not a seagull. so what I would suggest is that if you are going to continue with the cash wall/grab thing, at least randomise the matches fairly.
I was thinking of paying a bit of money into the game.
My process is usually to play free for a while and if i think I will get my moneys worth then spend which i'm sure is the same for most people.
However, I calculated the amount I would have to spend in order to advance at around 30 bucks. Thats a lot of money for a game like this and there is no guarantee that I won't hit another cash wall soon after that. The prices are just way too much for way too little.
Theres only one item I can see that I would even purchase (the adventure energy upgrade) and it's ten real dollars.

I've been playing this game for a couple of days now and can say that as f2p it pretty good. I mean i've wasted about twenty hours or more so far.
The problem is that now I seem to have hit the first cash wall. The energy level only lets me play a few adventure rounds and the battle timer is so agonisingly slow it takes almost a day to refill. It's a fun, addictive game with some good ideas and meaty content but i don't think i can keep playing it unless i pay and pay a lot.
Not just that but the randomness of card and opponent selection seems to end once you reach the level i'm at.
All of a sudden i'm facing off against computer controlled player opponents that get the first turn, a free epic card to start and are usually a higher level sometimes ten levels higher.
combine that with every third match filling my hand with the worst crap in my deck and the computers hand full of epics and even legendary cards making a ten win streak completely impossible.

i love this game i also stream it just wish that we didnt have to wait so long for more energy its difficult to keep viewers entertained when im having to wait for energy

This game seems to be for 90% based on luck, how long you've been playing and how much you've spend on it. The other 10% is skill. In other words, you can just beat everything based on luck and time and money, skill is not an issue to be concerned with. If you do expect skill to give you a significant advantage, you're going to get very disappointed because no amount of skill can overcome bad luck, money or time invested. Other than that, if you like collecting worthless on line items that aren't really yours after you've collected them, this is a game you'll actually enjoy, because plenty of things to be collected and researched if you've got oodles of time.

Fun for a free to play. (even if I wish they would make different arenas for F2P and P2W people). I have a decent deck thanks to quest rewards and hardheadedness lol.... Really happy they excluded both The Simpsons and the Cleveland Show both of which I hate.

An addictive game for Fox animation fans (although the visible absence of "The Simpsons" is disappointing, overlooking "The Cleveland Show" is probably for the better).

wow, a month or two in, and they still havent fixed the issues that make this game take a year to load, and annother six years to perform each action.

Since the latest update, the game doesn´t work properly anymore. Poor coding. It´s like you want people to dislike the game...
