interesting to note tovrick, using ST during a rival duel will make you level up restoring hp making a duel against a high defense low damage character like marshall easy

I think a cool addition would be counter-attack animations, where instead of it just being a regular attack a counter-attack will be a utilization of the prior attack to counter-strike; eg. dude blocks an attack with a sword, and slides his sword along his opponents, striking him along his arm...
That was tougher to explain than expected but I hope it makes sense.

There's a bug that it says every item I have is equipped, and I can't sell my items that I don't have equipped because it says that they're some how being used.

As a (simple?) QoL fix, I'd love it if the Rival ST duel buttons greyed out the way regular rival duel buttons do so I can click-click-click away without that annoying "Can't train until the current duel has ended" pop-up.
That's just a small thing though - I love the new update.

Been thinking: is there any kind of level cap? What's the disciple cap? And regular enemy? Do the fighting skills max out at lvl30?

Well, it looks like the last update screwed the game big time. Game starts with blue screen. The mentioned trick with deleting saves and using cloud save does nothing as game still goes blue. So…
I loaded your cloud save, looks like you have the same problem as AbbaG1 and a couple others (Auto-research gets stuck choosing the next scroll.) The fix will be up in an hour or two. Let me know if it works.
this usually means there is a problem with the auto-save. Search your computer for SwordFight.swf and inside that folder delete or rename the autoSave0 file then start up the game. The cloud save should load but if it doesn't you can try loading it manually (you only have 5 minutes after starting the game though before it is overwritten.)
Sorry, I have no ideas. Can you provide more info? Like does it happen when you are actively playing or can you be afk? Does it happen soon after a school reset, soon after upgrading the library, ect... Thanks.

Would love to see new weapons. Or an overhaul of the current ones. Stamina penalties are barely impacting me from using dual claymores even at lvl1. So their aint really any reason to not pick claymores.
Maybe add a really nice att speed and a %hit bonus to rapiers. So that fencing will become an overpowered way of faster training. While the other weapons are better at winning. Maybe the longswords a %att bonus. So that you'll get an attack vs damage choice for your sword.

Tovrick, and whomever else this may concern, I enjoy this game immensely. However, the sound effects are horrific. They need variation. You wouldn't even need more sounds, you simply need to have them vary in pitch a little randomly so that they're not the exact same noise over, and over, and over, and over again. I do think clashing noises should vary, as should hitting sounds. The swings can just vary in pitch, however. Overall, it's a fun game to kill hours and hours of time on, but I wish I could play it with the sound on without it driving me mad after an hour or so!

i've beat grand master greg a few times with dual swords only, blitz stance and it wont give me the second or third star :'(
Sorry, I am not able to work on this as much as I would like and even though the next update is kind of small it affects almost every aspect of the game so it has taken a while to set up and test. I do plan to release it by the end of the month though.

This game, while super fun at the start, seems to have a a super steep decrease in action/advancement after you hit, like, level 150.

i got 564 awards. i think it's because i reset a lot. i don't like late part of this game, so i prefer to play early part of this game again, and again. and i got a lot of awards by doing that, i think.
The main content is a little short but it looks like you didn't get very far, quite a bit more stuff unlocks. Its been suggested a few times that I show everything in a 'locked' state instead of hiding it.

I would prefer it if lineage had more of a purpose because I find there's nothing really good to buy there, no matter how many lineage coins I have. :(

To everyone who is focused on crit damage: Barrage is more then capable of one-shotting most opponents with raw damage, critical hits is how hit-focused and defend-focused fighters remain competitive by having a chance to still beat their target in no more then a few hits. This becomes more and more important the more and more you rely on getting just a single successful hit to win a battle, and crits are one of the worst ways to do this late-game (where you'd need to get around 4 successful hits to win compared to just one or two.)
