Could there be a reward for getting over 100% crit? Like maybe each % over 100 gives that much extra crit damage or something.

theres a trick to getting the best exp for offline purposes. heres how:
1. beat an opponent (best time)
2. before the exp is awarded pause it. then switch Ward (wallace if student is lower than master - with Lv 4 lead mentor)
3. skills of greg will be switched to Lv 4 lead disciplinary
4. got to stats - duels (top8 duels) then resume the game
it will eat alot of your platinum though

It'd be nice to have a centered text box that has to be clicked to be dismissed when you earn a new scroll level. Sometimes I'm in a separate window when it happens, and I'd like to know when I can switch asap.

I found that if you DONT do the Provost tournament untill you prestige early game you can get around 10-20 levels higher

So regarding my previous comment, at that time I hadn't unlocked the awards yet so I wasn't sure. To those starting the game, if you buy one of each item in the shop you will get a 10% discount on itens and item upgrades.

If you buy 1 of each item in the shop you gain an 10% discount, I might be wrong but I think this discount applies to upgrades too.

There seems to be a bug. My swordsman is level 552 and training at level 597. I get more experience when dieing than when killing the oponent. Bug or not, it should be like that.
Offline earnings have always been higher then online because of Meditation and Diligence. So combine those with Lineage's exp-on-loss and gold-on-loss you tend to earn more when you die than if you win. Players used to use the quick save system for the same result: Save if you win, load if you lose for offline exp. I may 'fix' this someday by changing what Meditation and Diligence do but even if I cap exp and gold offline earnings at 100% you will still earn more from losing than winning most of the time.

I guess the other thing I notice is that Kyle's "Dedicated" and Drevon's "Prowessed" are the only adjectives, while all the other Master skills are nouns. Which would be a reason to change "Prowessed" to "Prowess" and "Dedicated" to "Dedication".
I was going for job titles when I made these. Saying someone is the Mentor or the Lead Mentor works great but calling someone the Dedication or the Lead Dedication doesn't. Calling someone the Dedicated or the Lead Dedicated isn't perfect but sounds much better to me.

does leveling up the same mastery skill stack between all of my masters? i have level 8 innovation on all 3 of my masters and i dont know if its a complete waste of if its a good idea, also wondering about other skills like Mentor, Leadership and Prowess

@XiphiasGladius- I am also a native English speaker, born and raised in America, and prowessed is definitely a word. No matter what the use, whether it's an everyday word or not, I have encountered it many times in context. Just because people don't say it a lot doesn't mean it's a dead word...

Drevon's "Barrage Form" (and similar abilities that give bonuses for unspent Fighting Skill points): do the bonuses increase with more points put into the skill, or is Rank 1 (one point spent) identical to Rank 3 (six points spent)?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't understand what "Lead Innovator" does, I got the upgrade on Master Ward and have 20 unspent mastery skill points on one of my masters but i don't see a change.

Suggestion: Auto-Scroll Research switching, or a queue, so when one scroll has reached the max, you switch to another one.

Re: "Prowessed" -- for what it's worth, I'm a native English speaker who is fairly widely-read, and generally has a pretty expansive vocabulary, and I have never encountered "prowessed" in any context. To me, it looks like an error. The Oxford English Dictionary does recognize it, but lists it as archaic and poetic, rather than everyday usage. While it does have one Internet-era citation, it is not clear whether that usage was an error at the time; the previous latest citation is 1848. And the majority of the citations prior to that are in poetry.
The Internet-era citation is from rec.pets.dogs.behavior: "Many wistful wives across the country are stuck with boring losers who aren't as excited and brilliant and talented and athletic and prowessed as I am."
On the whole, I'm inclined to call "prowessed" in modern usage an error. On the other hand, it's Tovrick's game, so it's Tovrick's call what to do. I'm gonna keep playing it either way.

While so far this hasn't mechanically stood out among the plethora of other idle games, I love the animations of the sword fights!

with the currency going from thousands to being labeled with e seems kinda messy i would suggest either making it an e after millions or make it into like copper, silver, gold, and so forth.
Prowessed didn't pass spell check but I did find it in a couple of online dictionaries. I may switch it to Lead Prowess but it didn't sound right at the time I was setting it up.

Can you also make an "auto-change equipment" ? Like when you fight with guard stance, you have sword, shield, armor, when you fight with barrage you have fencing/dual swords, etc.

Loving the game, but my file appears to have corrupted or been deleted... Logged in this morning expecting to be over level 100 and ready to have my second master after buying the school yesterday... Instead.. Starting from scratch... :-(
I know I wasn't that far in, but this sucks....
Good game overall though.

#1 Who are all these swordsmen that are just plain better than me, and why can't I hire/recruit them?
#2 Who are these same level enemies with similar gear so much more powerful statwise? I assume it's a formula for leveling, but I think it starts getting a bit janky as you level up, I'm level 290 at level 290 training with 25 points in all base skill plus those relevant to my build( dual wield claymore/speed/blitz/crit) and on the stat tab, it says I only have a 2% defend chance( the minimum). I mean, that's fine in a way since I don't concentrate on defense, but I also have a 2% chance of hitting... Heck, even the shield guy has 65% attack with 98% hit and defend.
Am I doing something wrong? I have all but 1 rival star left, and upgrading my weapons and armor won't help much since I can't hit them.
I just don't know what to do to raise my stats any more, I even maxed concentrate and it doesn't help.
Just checked your save: Looks like the problem is that you have 0 Form and 0 Leadership. Those two, along with Prowess, are probably the best Mastery Skills in the game. You have scrolls for Form though so I wonder why you stopped using it? As for Leadership, start working on the scrolls as soon as possible and always upgrade it while it costs under 3 points. And if you rely on Damage to defeat opponents then you should have at least a total of 2 levels in Advocate and Diligence between the 3 masters. Hope this helps, good luck!

Heres a bug: in the new update, the skills the master knows cost 3 and the ones they don't know cost 2, not vice versa.

So, how does Lead Innovator work? I put one point into it, had 11 remaining mastery skill points (all mastery's maxed), and couldn't increase my fighting skills above 25 (or 30). Promoted a new disciple, same thing.
It has the same limitations as the Innovation Skill, so you won't be able to increase fighting skills above level 25. I hesitated to add this because it won't really be useful for a while except to newer players (if they focused on just one set of skills for example, and it will help with scroll research.)

At grand master rival.... it says that the xp he receives is based on level difference between him and the player's master. But it is not well calculated. -__-

it could be cool if there will be added pvp btw this game is one of the better idle games out there nice job and keep up the good work update this game in the future

Loving the game, guys. QOL suggestion: an "auto-distribute" button on the skills, for late-game players that promote new disciples. Have it spread all available points as equally across the skills as possible.
