Given the number of questions, here's a quick guide to fighting skills
Note: Whats important changes a bit as headmaster level rises
Tips
• Style: eventually want at least 10 pt each
o early game fence with rapier gives crit bonus,
o then dual till clearing rivals
o Back to fence for speed to level up better masters
o Late game is two-handed for the 10+ AND 20+ bonus (no other style gives 20+ bonus)
• Stance:
o ATK is the starting; some claim switching DEF&ATK in early game helps (??) I’m not willing to be that active ;)
o Barrage/Blitz/Guard min 10 pt for the 10+ bonus and usually put 25 in blitz to fly through the first few 100s. Then using Technique skill, helps to be active to clear the last few levels. BAR>BTZ>GRD>BAR is key
• Core: aim for 25pts
o Get STR up to 10 early to use Claymore
o Priority is endurance to max, then AGGR, ACC, VIG in this order
o Use SCROLL to bring down cost asap for this stack.

while waiting for the autostance upgrade, can suggest add a keyboard shortcut to change stance...gives some relief to the mouse clicking hand when pushing 400 level

@johnk40794 So there's no way to get 30 strength for the last star? That means it's impossible to dual wield claymores and get the last two stars. Why am I wasting points on Innnovation then? Doesn't make sense.

@dauntless: In addition to the level cap based on innovation, there is firm max that is only raised by earning certain awards. At the moment, 25 is the highest you can go.

Why lvl 194 with claymore and two-handed skill and barrage attacks first instead of my character who is lvl 216 and with 2334 attack (2 claymores and pijamas)

technique needs rework. only useful when youre in the right stance. how about adding an option to use certain stances when facing certain enemy stances? very useful when idling 400+ levels and since 400+ level players are just maxing there skills

School upgrade >> Librarian
Auto-select the next available mastery scroll to research
Extra upgrade allows simple rules for librarian e.g. shortest time to complete

Because soldiers with stances the hero is weak against, give per second too little and battles take too long, maybe they could give 1.5 x XP and Gold

Can you make "Focus" passive? And replace it with this: "Picky" (click: +5 second, max 10 min): hero fights only vs enemies with stances that he has or that he is good against. And if advanced, and time >10 minutes (click until you have 10 minutes++ and max let's say is 20 minutes), you get ONLY enemies with stances that you are good against. DOES NOT APPLY IN TOURNAMENT

I think if you add a pvp/multiplayer element to this game, it could go very, very far. As of now, it's a great single player idle game and the good bones for an excellent expanded version. An upgrade in the UI and graphics would attract more people as well. I'm not turned off by single graphics, but a lot of people like an eye candy game and when you look at the games which are very successful, they all are visually very nice to look at.

You know, I like this game. A lot of incremental fighting games require a lot of your focus invested in it. This one breaks the mould, and I'm glad it does
I hope to release new content each month. I posted info on the forum about what I plan to release this month: In-app-purchases, a new series of upgrades and a Halloween event. After that I will most likely be adding the next 6 rivals.

Does masters' Mastery skills stack? For example if I unlock "Mentor" skill for 3 different masters and one gives 100% more xp, is it now 300% more or still 100% more xp? I have noticed that "Prowess" skill does stack but can't tell if percent based skills stack.

It would be awesome to have a prestige rivals mode where it is the same rivals but up levels, like at level 400 your rival would be 400, 500 ect...

I really wish the lvl10 upgrade for Concentration was just having it permanently on. Now it's stronger, but still unused because clicking is just annoying.

Can heavier armor have a penalty at endurance? Because full armor warrior has too much stamina compared to my peasant.

When opponent has <= 33% stamina, can you make it reduce block chance, please? They block too well for exhausted warriors.
I forgot why I left this out but I will think again about adding it. It affects the balance of the early game a lot though so it'll be a while before I have time to look at it.

prgogress is really on and off according to the moon phase. One day my character levels up like crazy, then it takes three days to achieve the same with even better masters.
I think it is because when all of your masters are a high level progress is really slow until you pass the lowest leveled one and dedication kicks in (its multiplicative.)

33 of 36 stars not even a week old and im almost done. currently 260ish. for an idle game to reach this far on the game whereas not even a week has passed, the content is lacking. great game if i may say. most of my fighting skills are 10 and 15. so ill probably max those while waiting for the new content. thank you sir for the great game and i enjoy it. for those who are wondering how i did it. read the guides its all there. you can verify it yourself. oh yeah, i find claymore+rapier to be better than 2rapier/claymore. maybe its just me.
Yeah I should have added more content before I released but I was feeling like the game wouldn't do well and that I was wasting my time working on it. I was wrong though and will be working on new content for a while. I hope to release new stuff each month. And I'm planning a little Halloween event so you may want to check back in 2 or 3 weeks.

I stopped being able to up me offline XP and Gold increase... I'll finish a LV 127-130 in like 2 or 3 seconds but it's not updating the Top 6 anymore. Please help
This usually happens because of the discipline skill. After you pass your masters' levels xp drops so it takes a while for it to show up on the list again.

I have a questions about the level 10 strength bonus. It says it reduce the heavy armour penalty by 10, yet it still says the penalty without the reduction. I thought at first this might mean the reduction already applied to the equipment. so I saved, got a disciple, dual wielded claymores, saw that st req was the same, boosted st to 9, stam pen was 32, boosted st to 10 stam pen was 30, I was confused. Am I missinterpreting how this bonus works, is the bonus reducing the penalty without saying or is it bugged? PLS respond this is confusing me.

Maybe you can add a "fall" animation. It disables the character from defending for 0.2 seconds. And its chances increase with the hits applied on the enemy. And "bash" skill. (enemy cannot attack for 0.5 seconds (or so).

Add "War". Small War, Medium War, Large War, Huge War, Epic War, Insanity. (these are just examples). Small War: You do NOT regenerate HP after battle. You need to defeat 5 opponents. Large War: 10 opponents, so on. Maybe you could add potions too. Potions that we can use in Training/War/so on. Also regard the "Defend" stance. It is truly useless. Add at least a counter-attack chance.

You can add "Challenges or School fight or Masters tournament". The 3 masters vs 3 dudes, 8 battles (as in tournament). Wins the team with most HP percentage.

You can actually add ranged weapons as well. The enemy will just defend for 3 turns instead. And in "close combat" (when the 3 turns end), the character uses secondary weapon (knife, sword, etc). You can add new skills and items.

I found the game lacking for not having more advanced animations at fighting. I see that it is a medieval-based "fighting" game, but some Japanese weapons and techniques would have been awesome. The items are too few, far too few which give the game little diversity. Also, the armor would have been better on pieces: Helmet, Boots, Armor.

Sounds: The game begins unmuted. If you have headphones on, it will ruin your ears. The sounds are decent, there is no music tho. (No music is also a flaw.) 7/10. Gameplay: Unpolished: 6/10 "Idle" game: (not really an idle) 4/10 Graphics: 3/10 Animation: 7/10 (Hero left arm looks awkward) Features 2/10 Fun factor: 7/10 (at beginning) Addictive: yes, in a bad way. Was the game made with love? Maybe. But it needs a lot of improvement.

5) Too few achievements. 6) Too few skills 7) Too few items. Overall too little variety. It is like playing a demo. 8) Ugly "art" (colors are bad at mastery). 9) We need auto-buy for weapons and armor. 10) We need more bonuses. What about clicking gives instead of focus, bigger chance to crit at that particular attack animation? (like +10%). We can "click through levels this way and it will make the game easier and more enjoyable". 11) When you are lvl 1-30 and you fight enemies of your level, you get a lot of XP. ut when you are 100, you get very little XP even if you fight GrandMasters of your level. Fix that.
