My fps is always 28 or lower, even on low and with "Lag?".
It takes a few minutes, but my 600% boosts eventually drop to 599%
If I had a higher fps I wouldn't need the dark box though..

EPIC Kongregate + Dark Box = Infinite 600% boost and the progress bar starts at 25% each time as well.
