Weird bug that you should fix, when you go to your camp and try to hire a hero you don't have enough leadership for, you actually just get 2 gold. Great game however.

its the best protector game so far with out a doubt. but there is still some minor things i dont like about it... like the screen, i know it sounds stupid, but i think its better to play with eiter a "fullscreen"option and/or a smaller screen, if u feel the same way put a thums up>>=) thanks guys

Fantastic game, IMHO, rpg elements exceed TD aspect, if you do a protector 5 I hope you push further in that direction. Still, lots of fun for all of us in the meantime...
Minor whining - scouting report would be nice if it mentioned flying.
As others have said, melee is challenging because it misses so many waves, and really, you are only as good as your 'worst' wave. Solutions to this would either be to limit 'dense' waves (creeps aren't spaced out much) to walking, or to in otherways make the melee + aerial specialist approach better. I think the aerial specialists solve one part, but it needs to be balanced on the ground.
Not that I don't keep trying to run melee + archers +watchers anyway.

stack thieves on hydra quest, repeat 5-6 times = all protectomon, and 100+ junk items, and most of the arkandia joe's stuff too.

and i guarantee my trainees will slaughter your watchers to hell and back, the debuff is just ridiculous. dont even need the backup from archmage or whatever the other is

GOD I LOVE RANGE!!!!!i only make range units specialy WACHTER i got an ice element hero i always use him he has +28range lol

Meh, for the comment I just said, it ain't a bug... I just figured by doing an other map, that I need to pave before putting unit on it... I think... still it is kinda strange that you need to pave grass before putting people on it... so maybe put it to be more explicit that you need to pave?

4 things: (1) the protectopedia is woefully inadequate. I had no idea what the difference between "loot" and "steal" was until I found heroes with those abilities. (2) virtually all of the melee characters are useless (aside from Reavers, those things are evil), just like in the previous games. (3) once Watchers are avaliable, all of the other basic units are rendered worthless. (4) Basic vs Advanced unit balancing needs work. There are lots of advanced units that are rendered worthless because their basic counterpart is much better (Engineer vs Techomancer, for example)

Found a bug, in the storyline quest The Great Hydra, I can't place any unit, anywhere, I just can't put a unit on the map. Neither in the grass in the middle, neither on the grass on the outside of the path, neither anywhere. Kinda game breaking lol

LOVE IT! By far the best in the series. I would like to see a game guide to help me better understand upgrades and equipment.

i just found a bug on the element of a hero... when you equip 2 element changing items in one hero the 2nd one will work but then if you remove n 2nd item... the element of the 1st item remain even though you remove it, therefore the original element of the hero cant be returned!

Ok, so what the freak? I start the game and the ONLY battle that I can win is the very first one. Every single other one I lose. Ok, the game is supposed to be a challenge. But this is ridiculous! I start this excrement quest and I easily crush the enemies. Until I get to the cold weak wave and then I do not kill a single one. WTF?!

scouting report is extremely useful compared to recommended element cos i sometimes found myself without the element which was most useful despite having the recommened one :(

I am enjoying this game but I wish it had a little bit more 'mouse over' info. For example, hovering over the units in the Stat Screen might give you each unit's type name - or hovering over an enemy wave tab in battle might tell you a little more info (HP, etc).

i was able to temporarily change my heroes names in the screen when u just finished a quest, its only there for that screen though

While just starting out, I am kind of confused about these little signs on my heroes stating their element, I've never seen them before and there is no text to accompany them, so it's hard to select the right unites before you get to know them.
