A lot of people seem to hate this game even though it's really good. And no it's not an advance wars ripoff fools. Battallion wars is made by the same people as advance wars. Battalion wars is the console version while advance wars is the handheld version. Lol. Bet you guys feel like tools.

2/5, and here's why: Each level up in difficulty means damage bonuses for the enemy. There is no change in skill and the attacks are to the point where a War-Machine can be taken down by a single commando.

Thank you Lennethare, at least someone else noticed... But it you have played Advanced Wars, then this game is pretty easy. Even on hard mode. I did it all first try on hard mode. Easiest hard badge ever.

i luv the game but whenever i save and cancel the game and come back later, it didnt save. I even did the unlimited bar settings thing. Anyone have some tips?

@ ralfh4 True, and in real life, there are no mobile weapons platforms that extract "ore" from the ground. Dude, this is a game, people play it for fun, not a comprehensive example of current miltary tactics. Although a game that was totally true to the real world would be awesome, or crud, i cant decide.

Actually, in real life, tanks never go alone. They are always supported by infantry. Tanks are useless agaisnt infantry if they're too close and infantry can also have depleted uranium tipped bullets that pierce through the armor of tanks easily

lol this game is $%^#ed because just when i had a good position...wtf 40rty million people just happen to be able to kill me. btw iam preety sure a tank shoot to a human would be killed. $%^& this game

It's always interesting to see the series from another perspective, and I found it fun to be playing as the 'Akadians'. The lack of a War Machine took some getting used to, though you managed to acquire a few later on. As for the rest of the missions, each took different strategies, and it was challenging to find the one that best suited your playstyle and the situation at hand. I'd have to say I enjoyed the naval battles the most, taking out enemy bases/units from range was great fun (Battlecruiser, heh). It was also interesting to see how your ground forces could play a role in turning the tide against enemy naval forces, and vice versa (e.g setting up a Submarine to block an enemy advance across a bridge, or fielding transports to act as meat-shields for your other units). Great game, looking forward to the sequel - 4/5

what i like about this game... it never loses connection ever. if i'm playing other games at the same time, they will once in a while lose connection and freeze while i can move units and still play on battalion ghosts! you rock battalion series! **** 4 stars

I'm playing the ghosts campaign and It crashed on me on the level where the dragons show up. Also I lost my save information when I tried to refresh the page because the game seemed to freeze after the outro and wouldn't continue to the next level. Very annoying.

The game is fun, but the levels where your enemy can make units and you can't just make it frustrating (No one wants to see the other player pop out 2 more annihilator tanks)

Even though is a clear ripoff, I like it. May need a little tweaking (damage seems unbalanced, or something), but it's fun.

i hate these rip-offs... no checks like the game they are based on so a miss-click can and normally does kill you... units suck, no terrain diff at all for movement OR damage... >.>

Yeah I agree, the infantry were basically useless in this one, the first battalion was way better, this one was just too complicated and hard to follow. Good concept just make it more like the first.

Too easy, even on the hard difficulty. Also people please stop complaining about the dialogue being bad, it's obviously bad intentionally. Just because you don't find something funny doesn't mean it's bad.
