The best way to beat the last 2 levels are to play more defensively, mostly the enemy just runs at you with their eyes closed so it shouldn't be too hard. Kind of a less version of Advanced wars, which is an awesome game by the way, so this is a 4/5 for me.

actually 6unholy6blood6, you can toggle the dialogue at any point and the game and save at any point during the levels. Also i don't think the game takes itself that seriously, so lighten up a little man.

FINALLY got the hard badge. Damn. Play defensive and keep your fighters in reserve until all naval units have been destroyed. Use the fighters as blocking units and keep a rocket truck behind them for long range. Eventually the enemy will get worn down enough you can use the fighters to thin the ranks enough to send a couple big tanks to take out turrets or make a battleship to dominate the land.

Finally beat the last level on hard> I need to deal with battlecruiser. Make sure all hunter' suport are dead and then block them with infantry on airs and rapid fighters. Use a condor bombber to destroy the u-boats

it's not that good. pretty bad actually. too wordy for it to be action-packed, adrenaline hi game. you have to sit through boring & pointless dialogues before every damn mission. no save progess is another mark against this game. graphics of the people are just plain creepy looking. silly plotline full of holes. bad game, not worth my 10 minutes i'll never get back

tom I don't think they know how to make the AI better, since it hasn't improved over all the versions of this game yet

Hard mode is ridiculous - all it is is your units are weaker and they are stronger; not exactly a tactical master stroke....how about keeping the units equal just making the AI a bit better!

ok i give up on this game the save is not working and the game freeze so much i was playing lvl.8 probably thousand times - when I save in 9 it freeze and i have to play 8 again ...

The missions were still too weak on hard settings. Also too small maps. Too few tactical thinking needed to win.
The best map I played ever was the last map of the first game.

Please fix the save bug. I play from work and really don't have the time to replay the entire map up to the last level I played EVERY TIME!

Just like the first Battalion, the AI is so bad you have to wonder if its intentional. It never gangs up on weak units, and when it has a strong defensive position, it will move all combat units to the back and put the war factories in front, so you can kamikaze them and win the level.

that was smiple once clearing the water of ships i made long ranged ships and then made some plans and blocked the path so u can put my WM's on ships and had them safe in the water then used the long ranges ships to kill the WM was smiple worked for all the maps with water on them. =P

Good game, but campaign progress refused to save. Did levels 1-9 on hard three times, then when I finished 10 I didn't get the badge. Frustrating.

Fun game the AI is a little off beat the last level by blocking the paths with planes and opening the blockade to kill some till they ran out of units then they brought up there war machines and I rocketed them. I had no trouble with the save but i never actually used the save other than the missions unlocked auto save. Now I just have to read the comment to try and find were the bonus level is.
