Game fun, played previous parts as well, normal is no match for a skilled tactician :P
Saw achievements for hard, did hard, and was BAFFLED that their raptors could one-shot mine and not vice-versa. Wat.

this game has so many bugs I completed it and after the talking at the end it just stopped and didnt count me as winning, so annoying

Bug ! If I save my game and reload later, the leviathan transport is no longer available. On level 8 this makes the game impossible to win.

This game really needs an auto save after battles, it seems like everytime I log in I have to do 2-3 battles over again because it didnt save correctly.

I've had some glitchiness with this game. More than once, after issuing a command all units go unselectable, basically killing the game. Also more than once, I've had the game knock me back 2 scenarios in the progression.
Very frustrating when those two things happen in conjunction.

Tips for defeating level 10 on hard: use your boats to kill the air threatening ships. Build only raptors. Send all your units to the top, including your war machines. If you ever have a chance to take out an enemy war machine, do it, no matter the cost. use 1 raptor to whittle down the hp of the first turret at the top. When its down, you should have no problem moving your land units in and destroying the jammer trucks, allowing your air units to destroy the war machines.

@guyfox: The fundamentals of advance wars are certainly embedded into this game. While they are very similar to each other, Battalion: Ghosts features its own unique gameplay elements, not the least of which include: warmachines, barracades and some unique units not found in advance wars.
With so many games being produced over the decades there is (usually) little scope for originality and it feels like we end up with a lot of clones. Sometimes however, they can end up pretty enjoyable and fulfilling (which I seem to find in this particular game).
Long story short, it doesn't really hurt to lower your standards a bit.

sorry, I thought comments were going the other way, so that must have sounded kinda off topic. Also sorry for double post.

BTW - I think you need a way to access the main menu when its the computer's turn. I keep accidently ending my turning and having to wait like 5 minutes for the computer to do their move.

Great game. Lvl 7 was a killer for me. Only one complaint. A sub should not be able to stop a plane, it spoils the fantasy. 5 bombastic points

Game locked in medium level just as I gained the advantage and the opponent ran out of money. Very frustrating to finally figure out how to win and the game locks in think mode.

love this game reminds me of advanced wars or whatever it was called for the gameboy
P.S for the record its not an RTS its a TBS

cowmandude is correct. This game plays very much like advance wars, which is also a TBS. Examples of RTS's include: Command & Conquer series, Warcraft, Starcraft to name a few. Give them a look and you'll see the difference CakeIsALie =)

Good fun, like the last one, however it's a shame that the increase in difficulty between medium and hard is simply that the enemy units to far more damage. Their AI is still boring and predictable, it's difficult due to a tedious nature, not because it's genuinely tough to beat.

@gaborthehun: If it were 'impossible' as you describe it to be, it certainly doesnt explain why I have all the badges under my belt.
