Oh well, restarted, finished the game... And theres no need to go all in for the water domain, I found it by far easiest to defend myself with the rocket thingy's, stealth tanks and raptors. If you start by clearing the sea of enemy battlecruisers, then you can fend off the condor's quite easily, and in some time, retake the water to finish off the immobile guns with a battlecruiser or two. Had almost all initial tanks left when I finished the map, only think I lost my fleet, 4-6 raptors a stealth tank and a spider...

Nice game, like the previous parts. What sucks a bit is the hard mode - it is "hard" because the enemy has better weapons, not because the AI is better (e.g. his fighters shoot mine down with one hit every time, it takes me at least two to shoot down one of his regardless of cover). Still, 5/5.

i'm so tired of this ''saving'' bug i don't have the time to sit in front of the computer all day to complete this game. i'm done playing this game. really hope that the bug is fixed for the next battalion game. i just completed level 8 on hard an went over to a friends house. when i came back, it was all gone!! i hate this game. 1/5

Ach mein gott!! The game kindda froze on me, ie. I couldn't select or move any units, but I could still save and quit the game. Got out, pressed continue, entered a still frozen game.. Refreshed the page, and now no continue!!! And I was freaggin winning lvl 10 on hard, comp. was out of ressources, defenses where in place, plenty of my units living and kicking the comp. Frustrated? Just a tad...

An easy way to kill off Pearl in the bonus missions is to block her spawning buildings. With one of your units on her building, she can't build from it.

LVL 10 ON HARD:
Can be pretty annoying, and you will fail, if you try to win by tanks and so on, on land. First: Try to destroy every enemy on water (boats, submarines, EVERYTHING) Then build some battlecruisers to take out the towers and the warmachines. :)

Gonna change my rating to 1/5 until there's an auto save once a mission is completed. And no -> the workaround with "unlimited" didn't work either. After refreshing everything is gone. Too bad. It's a good game.

The key to winning on hard mode is learning to create a battle of attrition designed to exploit certain idiotic parts of the AI that don't change with the difficulty setting

crap, level 10 on hard is intense... but i managed to flee into the water :D, with my remaining 2 war machines, 2 condors, 2 raptors, battlecruiser, and huntership. This was when we both ran out of money XD, so, while they spent their time training infantry, and harvesting ore, i was safe in the air and water, bombing their machines from afar... it was intense 5/5

hehehe... got it in 1 sitting lol. The way to win is to outlast the enemy, not beat him. Even on hard, he could've overrun me, but instead he sent in his War Machines like suicide bombers and gave up (I had about 6 troops left and he had about maybe 20 infantry and zookers). They all have breaking points so look for them.

Hard mode is rather dissapointing. Instead of being hard it's frustrating. The AI isn't smarter, it's weapons are just overpowered to deliver one shots to your forces.

ok for all those wining and complaining about hard is to hard thats the point of the word HARD(HARD=cpu having unfair advantage) its supposed to be a challenge u jus have to think about where your putting your units stealth tanks corvettes bombers and bcruisers are sum of the strongest units

wtf this is making me mad. i completed 1 - 6 on hard and none of them registered. the i got to 10 and quit. now i come back and it says i haven't beaten 7 - 9. :( really annoying...

Dude . . . WTF with the glitches. There are multiple game freezing glitches, and then when I load the game, my save is gone. Bull.

Plateboy: Take out their exposed war machine with your corvettes, then make sure you take out their battle ships. After that, the sea becomes almost un-important. Your ground forces should be enough to overwhelm.

It seems like the Kongregate window for the game is too small for the actual game size. A bunch of information about terrain and such is cut off at the bottom of the screen. (hover over a tile and you can see the first line of info but nothing more, like the +ives and -ives of that tile)

Hard campaigns are not hard really..... All you have to do is block choke points with stealth tanks, and build a mob of rocket trucks. The AI will eventually go bankrupt, and suicide all his units for nothing, then just use stealth tanks to mop up whatever is left.

no, it's just that the strategy isn't too hard to comprehend. I beat the entire game in one sitting so I wasn't affected by save.
