This is basically a copy of "Advance Wars" for a gameboy. A very good copy, only the learning curve is steep and enemy movements can take a lot of time and be a bit confusing.

I love the game but think it was to short.also the AI was to easy.I also thought that you should be able to make invisible tanks.overall it was a great game.5/5

I have to say, after Tucker decided to retreat in the final battle, I was thinking "wtf, I could have destroyed each of those tanks no." I took over EVERY structure on the map except for like two oil rigs, had the whole map covered with my guys, and had accumulated a huge amount of cash.

I love turn based strategy games. This one does a good job with the rock, paper, scissors between the units. I have two complaints about the game. #1 the AI, at least on Medium, is not at all challenging. It will often pick up units with air transport and move it around the map with no rhyme or reason. I realize the AI is hard to write, but right now the game lacks challenge.
The second issue I had with the game is the user interface. It is pretty enough, but I hate having to use the mouse for everything. Some keyboard shortcuts to scroll the map around would be nice. I just find myself constantly clicking. I like the icons, but other than the intrepid the ships look a bit too much alike.
Does facing matter? Also the ground units are a lot faster than the sea units which si a bit strange, but not necessarily a problem.

Fun and well put together, but not hard enough and needs to be longer. Just when you get to the interesting maps it ends.
On some of the maps I definitely messed up, but the game was forgiving enough that I was nearly always able to recover. The only map which took several attempts was the first invisible tank one, which was more trial and error than strategy.
But I did enjoy it and will definitely play the next version.

he says he didn't like some things about advance wars' gameplay, i think advance wars is way better than this piece of shit

It seems that the enemy is taking their time thinking and a few frames are being played again and again, after around 30 seconds it resumes.

There gets to be a point, especially in the later levels, where the enemy just stops making units. Even though they have the money and the factories, they don't produce anything. This really takes away the satisfaction when the enemy just gives up like this.
