3/5 While the game is interesting for a turn based Title game. These died in the the 90s. Plus the music is ...FOR ME TO POOP ON.
I gave it a 3 only because it was well made besides that.

First of all: great game! I love Advance Wars, even though I've never beaten the final map.
Two minor things though:
I find it awkward to just have to click on an enemy to attack. In other games of that kind, there is usually a menu after movement, if you want to attack, heal or whatever. I accidentally didn't attack someone several times because of that.
Second are the dialogues. I thought they were pretty boring. It needs either some jokes, or a better story.
But for a one-man-project, this game is awesome!

Saving in this game is messed up. I saved the game, came back an played a level, then saved and quit again. When I started again, it took me back to the *first* save, I'd lost my progress from last time! I tried quitting without saving in a hope that I had missed something in the main menu and could try again. My save game was completely gone! Quitting without saving completely destroys your progress! Very badly done.

Stuck on the invisible tank level. Stuck big time. How can you fight somebody you can't target? And if there's no save, today is officially the last day I play it anyway.

Sorry, I do have a critique. It would be a good addition to have to confirm the movement of troops. Twice I accidentally told a tank to move to a place I didn't want it to, but I could not stop it. The addition of a confirm movement would be nice.

The AI sucks... in advance wars it can be a challenge at times... in the bonus map they didnt build any new units with 3000$!!!

What the?! I reloaded my game and everything exploded and said i was defeated? all the progress i made on that level was lost, i am seriously annoyed as this is the second time ive lost my data on the same lvl... what was a 5/5 game became 4/5 but is now 3/5

It really made me laugh cause this game is just a copy of advance wars, or almost!
But the thing im missing is the hero abillities, like that little kid, who could repair some of your machines. It would be awesome if you could add that :P

I saved in the middle of stage 8 and the next day I see no "resume save point" button and I can't even start at stage 8. 7 is the highest level select will go.

It started out as a 5...but then it started to lag with no option of reducing quality. Down to a 4. Then the tanks with cloaking ability turned up.
Those two little points brought thhe overall score down for me and instead of it being a 5, it became a 3.
Apart from that, it's a fun litle game.
