I like the concept, and for the most part the stratrgy plays pot pretty well. the only downside is that it tends to lag a lot when the computer is taking its turn, and there's no support for multiplayer, which would be great if it were possible.

Forgot to add, and got reminded by Demon warlord's comment, really limited selection of air units, and I'm not sure if you do, as I only just beat Island hopping, but you should be able to control Stealth tanks at a certain time.I thought the bonus map would be a random map, not just one map...so basically there's only about 15 battles including Boot camp...

Really nice game. I'm a fan of AW myself, and while it's not as good really, the concept is better.
Not too long, not too short story,that's good, the characters were...nice but the plot could of been better, a map maker would have been REALLY nice. Also multiplayer would have made it better, but I guess you can't have everything

As a fan of Advance Wars (every single one), I was rather disappointed by this game. The "issues" that you "fixed" from AW detract more than they add. The lack of base repairs is crippling, and your new system is terribly useless. The game could also benefit from AW's basic info display showing unit numbers and income for each side at a glance. It was a nice effort, and certainly shows promise, but all of the AW charm is absent here.

@thechat - no it does not... and your reasoning behind it is strange - but hey... most people seem to like the game and with the added badges it's a lot of fun.... yet compared to other games on here the 1 is a big fat joke... and I am glad you are pretty alone with that vote...

I've never played "Advanced Wars", but I really like this game. Good strategy, great color scheme, variety of units. Fun game.

As a fan of advanced wars, I absolutely love this game! :) I don't like the animation for the movement of each unit(bugs me to wait). Don't really know if you can add an option where you can skip movement and attack. Still haven't played it much to say its the best but 5/5 for sure!

Thank you for changing the AI and the tank damage. I have noticed that the game is a lot more fair now. Due to the changes, I will change my rank as I promised I would.

it's sort of like advanced wars but i gave it a 1 and here's my inteligent response to why: i was expecting this to be pretty close to advanced wars with a few new features that make it better but personally i don't like the way you can call in transports from the shore and that they can't move and unload in the same turn the battles are kind of...for lack of a better word lame i thought you were going to add things you thought it was missing not take out some good stuff and put in some stuff that's annoying mainly the boot camp is too long maybe if you make a second one combine somethings the actual AW game only has about 4 tutorial lvls and they come with the exposition(beginning of the story lays out important plot elements and characters) i hope you make a sequel and that i think it's better than i think this one is...doesn't it sting a little less to get a one when you get an explanation why and suggestions to improve it :D

wow u guys r retarded saying its just like advanced wars, when its clearly stated in the description that its just a more aggressive version of AW. christ. and its actually a lot different from advanced wars, it just has similar graphics.
