I like the "Space Battalion" idea, too - a couple of space platforms with "land" vehicles, a spread of asteroids for "sea" vehicles and the rest of space for "air" vehicles. Have solar panels and asteroid mining stations for income. Maybe non-land vehicles get knocked back a square or two when hit.

Never played Advanced Wars, but this is a great game. I enjoyed the intuitive controls (but keep the Boot Camp!), the build options, the layered challenge of air/sea/ground (interaction between various units), the graphics, the sound (it was in the background until I read a comment about it, now it's a little annoying), the auto-save, the badges and the card! I didn't do the math, but on the bonus map I had taken control of most of the refineries (land and sea) and was only getting about $600 per turn - it seems something wasn't generating money correctly. A "Build your own map" would be groovy, if possible.

Oh wow it starts to get damn lag during the later stages, for that...3/5. And I know it's not cause of my computer being slow(cause it's not).

Game's kinda buggy - some of the levels don't load, and are replaced by black screens which oyu can't escape without refreshing the page - which invalidates your saves.

I loved Advance Wars for GBA, so this is a great idea. The game needs more maps though, perhaps a progressive scoring style similar to that of AW would be good. Also, AI should be much improved, and a better interface for movement would help. Overall pretty good, though it's definitely not an improvement on AW yet.

it had to be made, 5/5 for the effort. Maybe Battalion 2 could get online play? Custom maps? Maybe even a little scifi "Space Battalion"? I like the ring to that.

...Advance Wars is good. And there's a semblance of balance to it. That doesn't mean you should make carbon copies of every unit it has.

when does the campaign end i mean how many chapters cause if it does follow advanced wars campaign it sould have near 20 im on 8 but when does it end btw its no where near as good as AW

This game isn't honoring advance wars. It rips it off to the degree that it uses much of the same units and, overall same game play. If you have advance wars already you don't want to be playing this horribly butchered and striped version of it. For lack of creativity alone this game should be shunned (if I wanted to play advance wars bad enough I would).

Ugh @#$@#@#%^% i am so not use to moving and attacking as one single turn. Most strat games i play you move THEN choose who you wanna attack. I keep Fin up in this one and basically losing a couple turns.

It has potential to be a good game. It need more work though. One problem is that you should not have talked about advance wars.... many games are already compared with masterpieces like advance wars, and saying it is asking for it. Sadly, AD is a great game, and what could be a nice game seems poor near it.
And... the thing about addressing game play issues... it is something that you really, really shouldn't had said.
Didn't liked the characters too. War games kind of need to be in extremes. Or it's colorful, making war fun, or serious, making war sad. Everything in the middle is just ignored.

Advance war is such a great game, this one is also great, but it is still mostly different from the advance war. Love the different battle concepts!

when a unit is damaged it deals less damage.
When at full health it desplays that it deals 50 damage but when damaged it still says 50 damage. you should mae it say how much damage is lost with every health
