Also, the artwork for the ships makes it hard to tell exactly what each ship is. In particular, the Corvette Fighter and Battlecruiser look nearly identical, and the Hunter Support can look similar depending on angle. The names are somewhat confusing too, what's wrong with "Destroyer" and "Cruiser"?

I like this game but the AI seems glitchy. The main problem is that it will sometimes stop building new units for no reason. You'll see the AI accumulate thousands of dollars but never spend it despite having 2 warfactories. Also, the AI is extremely offensively-minded. While it's fun to destroy tons of AI units as they banzai charge your chokepoint, once the AI has a smaller army than yours it should fall back to its own chokepoints and play a defensive game, instead of continuing to suicide lone units.

Just finished this game. Overall, it was a great game. The AI left something to be desired, as I said earlier. There is no excuse for the enemy not to build units when they have $6000 and two warfactories next to my commando capturing their home base. Looking forward to the next iteration.

I like it. It takes some of the problems from advance wars and gets rid of them, while adding new content as well. I only wish that you could change the graphic options to lower manually, because it lags a lot for me when troops move.

Just loaded my bonus map game and was instantly defeated upon load-in, despite having clearly been on top when I had to quit last time. Enemy AI is pretty bad, and the whole game is pretty laggy. Mediocre graphics. Was going to overlook most of this and give an average rating, but a save function that automatically loses the round is a pretty substantial bug. I doubt I'll come back to claim the remaining badges.

I was a hour and a half into the final level, I had pushed up to the enemy HQ, when suddenly I got thrown back into the menu in the middle of a move. Nooooo...

that game was too easy and it's painful to watch as your enemy just lines itself up to get killed there's no sense of satisfaction i could've done the bonus map with my feet and won it and maybe you're not too bothered but the plot line was obvious. if you took this game tidied it up and lengthened it for hand held consoles went back in time and released it at the same time as advance wars one it wouldn't have worked as well because the bits that make it different from advance wars are the bits of advance wars that made it successful and challenging. when you're attacking units it should be more obvious how much damage you can do the only thing i enjoyed was the units that you created. go back to the drawing board on the rest of it for the sequel.

Good game. I only get a problem when trying to restart the bonus map. It just goes black and then won't let you do any of the option in the options menu.

i cant wait for number 2 =D keep up the good work, but heres some suggestions:
1.map maker/editor
2.more files
3.more aircraft units...(although land and water units would be nice too)
4.let the player get to use stealth tanks
5.hidden levels would be FREAKING AWESOME

Very well done, (the story was quite fun) but it wasn't clear how much less effective weakened units were. And more info about how much damage a unit was going to do would have been nice; the +/=/- was ok, but was sometimes wrong when it came to highly damaged units.

great game, good stroyline, funny ending. Just miss a multi and maybe a map editor. But very polished overall. Thumbs up !

On the last map the enemy stops producing units once you take a certain amount of the map. It had plenty of factories left and it ended with 8k and just let me trample it once I killed it's offensives.
