BTW advance wars by its japanese name (Colico Wars) has been a series since the early 1980's "Colico wars advance" was just the first game in the series to be brought to an American audience.

I'm not sure if you read this, but I suggest you do. I like your game a lot, infact, I think you should make a map editor, which we can build a custom map with custom starting units and buildings. When you are finished, you would save it, and get the code of your level. You can share that with your friends, and it could be very fun. Another option could be multiplayer, where we could wait in a lobby, and join games which we want to play. There would be a more-info button too, to show you the map and layout of units. Anyway, I hope you read this. (Copy and paste if u agree) And one more suggestion from me: Something like a random-map generator, to play every match on a new map!

If you read the description you would see that this game was intentionally based on advanced wars, and personally i think that any game that it is reasonable to do so with should be ported into flash so that it can be played for free. (also badges for advance wars is pretty fricken sweet). PLEASE stop critisizing people for porting other games into flash, thats the beauty of flash, that we can make these games available for free, not to mention urbansquall did an excellent job of it and should be praised, not berated. we should encourage designers to bring every possible game to the flash community. besides advance wars is the best game of its type, but not the first, advance wars is a rip off to by your standards, you fools!

The ordering of naval transporter at the shore reminds me of rise of nations and is something that I loved in that game.

Saving works; just "save and quit" and when you want to play it back, just go to the main menu and click Restore Save Point.

... headacher is right... this game is totally ripped off of Advance Wars... ALL 4 GAMES!!! (Advance Wars, Advance Wars 2 : Black Hole Rising, Advance Wars : Dual Strike, and Advance Wars : Days of Ruin) Play Advance Wars Days of Ruin on Nintendo DS and u'll see its EXACTLY THE SAME DAMMIT!!(Nifty Ideas but a bit rigged like the repair)

Draconias, I think it's only possible when the computer is taking its turn.
I also completed the campaign, but had to do the last map on easy and haven't seemed to have gotten the badge...

OMG, got to last campaign mission, had to go so clicked save and quit and came back, when i refreshed the page i had to star from lvl 1 =,='
3?5 because...
1) it is very slow!
2) save doesnt work if you go off the game!

Gets REALLY slow after you play for a while. Repetative and easy. Decent start, you should try speeding it up and making it online. You could have a vs. mode and a 2 player campaign so 2 friends can battle out more missions, each with their own base. t leave the window up due to the SLOWNESS. Good start though.
3/5

Save still doesn't work. I played three levels in the campaign, then went to the main menu. Then I reloaded the page. After reloading the page, when I went to play the campaign again I could only start from level 1.
Otherwise, the game is fairly fun, but it really needs a "speed up" button. Having a working save would help a lot. 3/5

TOTAL SUPREME SPOILER: If you check the enemy's portrait on the bonus map, it will be clear who the traitor is. It is pretty straightforward without that, though.

I perfer Advance Wars better. Several of the things are unbalanced, like capturing and repairing. In AW, you're supposed to defend your HQ better. In this game, rather than waiting 2 turns, you have to wait 3 to finish capturing. (1 for moving, then 2 for capturing). Repairing is also very strange. Also, with the sea transport matter, in AW, you're supposed to protect your landers. Hiring the landers in this game makes it rather unbalanced because you only need that unit to move.

The subs are useful early on in the mission, but as the battle goes on I always end up with them just staying out of the way and doing nothing.
