Very nice game, excellent attempt at a turn based strategy game. Problem is of course the stupid AI, but the campaign is nicely built making it difficult enough. You really start to appreciate the effort 'real' companies put in their computer AI :-) 5/5

lowering my rating to 2/5 because of a major bug. upon reloading my game, it immediately said I'd failed the mission, and forced me to restart.

Average game. major problem: On later games of the campaign, there are ridiculously long 'think times' at the end of each of the computer's turns.

If you consider this a ripoff of a gameboy advance game, dig deeper: Battle Isle for the Commodore Amiga 500 (1991) was one of the first turn-based strategy games of this kind, only with hexagons instead of squares.

Its a great game... only problem was that its no auto save or that you can choose a level that you already completed. So... firefox crashed when I was on last level. I must start over again. Thats why people make autosave, its saves you in time like this :/
4.8/5

I think this is wonderfull, also for all people who have no gameboy advance.
It's a good solid game and we want more of this.

-1 for the level/saving bug issue
-2 because it isn't solved yet
result 1/5. I waited to vote to see if I could rate the game better...
anyway, at least it's good as a demo for Battallion 2

Honestly, if this is your idea of fixing Advance war's ... gameplay issues...
Well, I guess I just don't agree with your idea of what a good game is. 3/5.

This is a cheap rip-off of ADVANCE WARS on Game Boy advance. I have advance wars and its almost the same thing. This is breaking a copyright and therefore should be removed.

Beth, your computer is obviously NOT suited for Kong if the monitor's resolution can't even fit this game lol, you're foolish to mark down because YOUR computer sucks. Anyways, I love the game!!! Finally a game that doesn't suck on Kong....AND, it's really good! Sure, it's not the most original, but who cares. It shows you put effort into this game, and I love it. This game is definitely a game worthy of a challenge, unlike most previous games which were quickly whipped together. Obviously I'll give you a 5/5, your game deserved it, and obviously I'm not the only one who loved it. Great job!

Undo! Undo! Undo!
Also, some sort of multiplayer would be nice. It can't be harder than putting in the good AI you've done.

Very, very well done, just ... not terribly original. But full points for quality.
Suggestion for improvement: show a counter for total units and per-turn income rate, and smae for enemy? More info in a strategy game = good.
Well done!

I can't get the game to fit in my screen unless I cut of the edges because of the chat box and as I progress, even with chat muted, the lag just gets to bad for me to be bothered. If these things were fixed I'd give it four, as it is, two stars.

2/5 now
save function needs work...when i clicked on "restore save point" it took me to the previous save point instead of the one i just did. then i quit without saving and that option was gone...so i have to redo the level.

unit attacks should be different and an undo button would be great except for attacking and if you discover a stealth unit...and every now and then the computer wont do anything. its not lag because the units were moving still and i could move the screen around...but it was the computers turn and nothing was happening...

I love this game! The pieces are so well-balanced against each other that the more intricate remind me more of chess than of other games in this genre.
