on the last mission, filling up the area where the tanks appear doesn't do anything, they still say "more invisible tanks?!?"
lol, are about 20 annihilator tanks of mine now their invisible tanks?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
there should be a section explaining how the weapons work because it seems that health is the difference bettween a raptor being very effective against commandos to being very effective against aniholators

oh, and the screen is sliiiiightly too big for my browser. really annoying. never got those probs on my beloved ds classic.

Wait, so he admits it's a rip-off of advance wars, but... what does this have that advance wars doesn't? in fact, i might go so far as to say nemesis is inferior in every way.

This game is decent, and the AI isn't impossible to beat (although at a certain point it just stops building troops). A nice add-on for fans would be for the developers to build a time-limited map editor. Fans would have a blast making maps, and develolpers would choose a selection for the sequel(s).

I've played the bonus map several times (I still don't have the badge...) but I've never met invisible tanks on this map.
Depending on your moves, it is possible that the AI builds a battleship. I think I've built a ship in the first round to trigger this.

I so wish the game had a map editor. Or a randomizer. Or anything to endlessly increase the play time - there's so much potential :)

bah..I got the levels confused. That is to regular level. The bonus level is like they just said. Play defensive on land and let his stuff come to you so your turrets get maximum potential. Win the sea supremacy and its over.

bah the bonus map is too easy because he doesnt build troops like others pointed out. Turn 1 move up to just out of range of battle ship. He moves it torward you. Build a commando to airlift to islands. Turn 2 pull the troops back to just out of range and set up defensive formation for stealth tanks. Put commandos in hills where possible. Turn 3 when he moves battleship up again your subs will be in range to pulverize it. With that out of the way, you just got to make sure you win the sea battle. Put your sub in his build center and game over. airlift commandos tot he island to finish the game

The bonus map is easy. Just defend your land and get sea supremacy. Get commandos in albatrosses and capture the sea and land control points. From then on out its a piece of cake.

How did the bonus map take 2 hours? O_O
I did it in 40 mins...just eliminate their turrets and set up a few condor bombers around the borders. stick a flak tank in their warfactories to stop them producing, and voila.

If you like this game you should check out Battalion:Freedom on the Gamedozer website (http://www.gamedozer.com/battalion/)
you can play vs others, not just AI.

The game is still flawed! While nice to play, even on hard dificulty, the computer doesn't build any f_ucking troops. It has over 3k$ and it doesn't build one damn pawn! It only becomes a survival game until you destroy all his units, one by one.

SPOILER ALERT!
it would have been nice to have the option to continue the game when at level 10 in campaign mode all those invisible tanks appeared. that would have been a good test of the our strategical skills.

This is a great, great game. No, it's not Advance Wars.. but only Advance Wars is. The mouse control scheme is immaculate and the balance is good, if not a bit oversimplified.

Every one is comparing it to advanced wars, but has anyone thought about the similarities between battalion nemesis and battalion wars. The name for a start.

The game is well done for a flash game, but when comparing it to advance wars it fails hard.
-The Removal of the RPS element.
-Simplified damage algorithm.
-Consolidated construction and repairing at the unit, end up neutering the value of the board.
-Lack of transportation units, Removes a fun element (logistics) and reduces the speed of the game.
-WTF did you do to mechs?!? they were the rape!
It's like the creator enjoyed advance wars but didn't know why.

I'm very impressed with this game. It has been long enough since I played the Advance Wars games that I don't remember some of the subtle differences/improvements you have made but I enjoyed this just as much at least. I hope you will make more campaigns and add multi player functionality. If you add the multi player to it I guarantee that it will be popular on Kongregate for a long time.
