I just want to say that you summed everything up in your description and by that, I'm excited to play your game. The MAIN reason I bought the Nintendo DS is solely because of Advanced Wars!! I salute you in your homage to a truly amazing game series! Kudos! :D

It's driving me crazy that you have to move and select the attack at the same time... I keep moving and then just sitting there, waiting to be killed.

Buggy. On the mission where i rescue Argent's Raptors, i saved and reloaded later. i destroyed every enemy without losing a single troop, and it doesn't say I win. So then i repair every one of my units to full health. Still nothing. I move them to every edge of the map. Still nothing, then i save and reload. Then it suddenly destroys every unit i have and General Mullen says the statement he says when you lose, and it then says I got a,"Game Over" when in all actuality i should've won. Fix this bug please.

Also, instead of one bonus map add 3. And have them have different enemies and multiple different players at the same time. Also add so two people can play against each other or team fight on the same computer.

Really needs the ability to explicitly attack after "just" moving to minimize the "oops!" factor. Seems pretty solid otherwise though.

The fact that damaged units are all around less effective is made worse by the fact that you are always outnumbered and it takes FOUR TURNS to fix them.

Cover does next to nothing. I don't notice a difference when using bazookas against tanks instead of regular guys. Why are bazookas only one square range? The Kongregate watermark link is FRIKKING ANNOYING. There are no tactics involved. You just throw units until someone runs out.

I really like it. I've played every Advance Wars game; just getting used to NOT JUST moving next to a guy and not attacking and no super powers/tag powers. otherwise a great adaptation and awesome Kong game! 5/5

@BlackCia - Yes... if you bothered to read the description you would see how stupid stating the obvious is...
@sheepwshotguns - the older multiplayer version has an editor - and we decided to leave it out for now as balancing a level and creating a map that is solvable for the ai is not as easy as the final maps make you think.
Thanks to all the good feedback... and we will be working on a sequel if this game does well enough.

Good game. I'd give a full 5 instead of a 4 if the AI wasn't utterly retarded. (It fails at forcing me to take hits from its ranged units.)

Game's great so far from what I can tell (I've only done the boot camp), but I find it annoying that you can't cancel movement if you don't attack that turn. This ability was one which I've used extensively in the Advance War series and I'm disappointed that it's not in this clone.

Something seems to be broken in the chokepoint training scenario. Oil wells say they give $60 a turn each, yet I'm only getting about $65 in total. Means I can build 1 tank and a few commandos - which aren't enough to stop anything.

Pretty good, I really enjoy what you have done here. I think this is the most well made game ive seen in a long time, and I know for a fact thats its been forever since ive scored a game this high. 5/5.

Later in the game, but AI will mass raptors and eventually give up building anything at all. I ended my last game with my enemy having 3,000$ and 3 war factories with nothing on them

Could be a bit more fast-paced - the movement is slow and the AI also seems to take a long time even when they aren't doing anything. It's a very good clone - an undo button would be nice though.

Ok, so far unit spam seems to be down, but agressive play is encouraged because of the fact that weakened units barely suffer a hit to their damage output... In other words, I have to crush the enemy or I'm not much better off.

Well, something happened to me here. While I was playing this game, all of a sudden, I couldn't click on the browser window anymore, not even to close it. The browser did not freeze, but I couldn't click on it at all. I had to ctrl+alt+delete to close it and reopen it. I'm not sure if it was the game but it was the last thing I clicked on before the browser window turned intangible.

3/5. Last time im changing. You didnt really solve any gameplay issues in my opinion. The way landing boats works is dumb. Getting rid of the anti air rockets and giving the rocket truck an anti air function isnt really an improvement (same thing with helicopters and air planes).

Going stream of concious with this: First impressions are that it's going to be a massive unit grouping clusterfrag to make mistakes less painful. I hope I'm not right.
