Is it me or is there a bug that prevents you from scrolling right at the Bonus Map? Anyways, the game was pretty good. The movement was a bit choppy though, and there aren't any Commanders that you could put into your unit or CO Power. There aren't enough Air Units, and the Naval units need more variety...and there isn't an equivalent of the Mega Tank/Neo Tank. Overall, not as great as the normal Advance Wars, but a good imitation of it. 4/5.

One more up for Daydream, great flash attempt at an AW game. Makes me want to start up the virtual boy and AW2 on the computer.

Advance Wars is one of my favorite GBA games. I am sooooooooooo happy you made this, it absolutely rocks. Great work!! 5/5

To all those comparing it to the original AW on GBA and DS - of course it's better... It's a huge team behind the scenes to make better graphics, better dialogues, better sound fx and music and finetune the game to max. That's why they charge you to buy the rom - and good on them it's worth every cent.
This game on the other hand is the work of 2 coders and 1 graphic artist [with additional help from musicians and other artists] - and it's done in flash [which cuts speed and special effects down to a minimum].
BUT...
You get to play it for free! It's that simple - quality has it's price. You are welcome to play AW and give this one a miss - your choice - but there a lot of people who do enjoy the game and the fact that it is for free...

Its really idiotic that alot of people rate a game bad because there are no badges on it. Its not the developers fault, and it does not chage whether or not the game is good. -.- Hard game, but fun anyway 4/5

Definately a great game. 5/5, ty for the upload. Maybe a function to create your own maps or multiplayer in the future?

@ zoid: your complaints are legit, but if you are tired of the old AW, pick up Days Of Ruin. you can turn battle animations off (i think) and theres no more goofy characters or bad story. anyways, this is a good clone, one of the best. the graphics look like they came right out of a real commercial game. nothing beats AW:DoF, but for a free online game, this is as good as it gets

So far, I'm just on the last level of the boot camp, but it looks like a great game. The only thing that ticks me off is the gigantic advertising banner for Kongregate even though we're playing on it right now!

the gameplay is a little stale its kinda like if i played chess by myself and just went to a peice then knocked it over... ya know
needs a lil more interaction

I'm a huge fan of Advance Wars, and I think you did a damn good job with this. It's obvious that the people who bitch about the units with low health doing less damage never actually played Advance Wars.... so don't listen to them. Well done!! 5/5

Bah...made it past the Choke Point tutorial, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm going to stop playing now. It's like people don't understand that part of enjoying a game is getting satisfaction from building up a strong position and not feeling like you are going to fail every time you start a new level.

This game is amazing already. However, like others have said before, it could be improved with easy improvements to the movement system. Also, the oil refineries don't seem as useful due to how long it takes to capture it.

ziod...your painfully wrong, the characters werent really goofy, and the battle animations added to the gameplay, true it wasnt what made it great but it added to it, and the story was actually pretty good
