riley, urban mentioned that he got the idea for this game from advance wars.
urban, saving still isnt working for me. everytime i load my saved game it restarts me back at mission 6. earlier i saved it on the final mission, and i know two other times i have saved after moving on. so, my save feature isnt working.

i seem to have an issue having the game even load the beginning part now and i completed up to the card challenge and it doesn't show i did, says i need 25 more kills =/ any idea before 3 days are up and i don't get the card?

My fourth suggestion goes along with my third as a unit upgrade, but it would be a big one. It is to be able to stealth a unit as long as it doesnt move for 1-3 turns (depending on the upgrade level, of course). My fifth suggestion is to have a create a map feature, a lot of people have been saying this so it isn't really my suggestion though. My sixth suggestion is to have increased options for air units. My major idea with this would be a ground unit/air unit or a ground/water unit. The half soldier, half plane (a solpla for short ;)) would have a turn delay to switch between air or ground, say two turns, and also this would be interupted by a lot of dmg, so you can't just run away and repair without buying new units. (Im talking 1/2 or 3/4 of base health though). I hope you take my suggestions into consideration when you make a sequel (hopefully!). Overall loved the game, 5/5, try to improve the save feature though.

Ok, a few suggestions for a sequel (The game rocks already though!). A create character or create class option would be awesome for campaign would be awesome, where it is upgraded after a certain amount of kills, completeing levels, etc. For the classes, I suggest, one to give units for cheaper, another to give units a bonus to dmg, and one more to increase multiple small things like movement per turn, firing range for medium to long range weapons, greater repair rate, etc. My second suggestion is to have a skirmish mode, where a randomly generated map can be played, and players play for fun. My third suggestion is to be able to upgrade units, like being able to give a unit class a bonus to dmg, health, movement, resistance to dmg, etc.(when I say unit 'class' I group together tanks, trucks, commandos and ships.)

reminds me off some other game i played on gba... anyways... still has quite some bugs... like units becoming unavaible... just cause it wants them to... full health... next round... "no can do"... still i'll give it a 4/5, cause of its "freshness" :S

sometimes the AI's hang during their turn and you have to wait 2-3 minutes of nothign happening. strangely there is always a vechile that looks like it is moving (wheels or when in the water)

It took a healthy load of detective work, but I believe I have isolated and fixed all Load/Save bugs. Please report any Save/Load issues you have with the latest version.

character lacks charm....if you cant draw cute anime characters, the game should've gone with a more serious tone like in "days of ruins". It just seemed like bunch of middle aged men in their 40's playing with toy tanks while they throw sand at each others faces. ..Also , dont mention "advance wars" in the description lol...or else player will expect the same 50$ quality.

wow i did the whole freaken campaign until the 9 thing and hit save came back and guess what

this sucks. it was totally awesome and i love it, but the bonus map was almost impossible, and after 3 hours of hard gameplay, i beat it and i didnt get badge. -5/5, but without that BS, 4/5. map editor!

Relax... I saw a game based off Starcraft on here and people say it's a rip-off, but it is a TRIBUTE. This game and Epic War, along with the Starcraft Tributes, are always picked on.

I've noticed that, especially when the AI has a large amount of cash to spend, the amount of time the computer takes to switch control back to you after it moves all of its existing units (and maybe producing a few more) increases dramatically over time. Any particular reason?
Other than that, great game.

Lucky this game is an Advance Wars reference, it's made completely out of the Advance Wars concept, so it's not a wannabe, more like a fan

This game stays at two stars until I can actually load my saves from where they are instead of reverting from level six. And saving the game does nothing because the next time I load the game it isn't there.
