all u rly have 2 do is hold out till round 7-10 then when u get like 600 money and if u have the warfactroy ur set. use 1 battlecruiser 2 open up the right side of the set and then capture with a commando (make sure 2 send tanks with him) and after a while they dont make any more units so u can just kil em off but send a commando just in case.

Special Level Strategy:
2 on the right and 2 in the left. Each side has one guy in the mountains. Let them come to you for the most part. When one guy on the left is damaged till about 3 yellow bars retreat him and heal him entirely. Some of their units will instant kill when they attack you in the first couple turns. Stay in the same general area and they will come to you and then you can take them out one or 2 at a time. Eventually you will need to move the left side inwards to wards their long range units to attack as well as defend your units. I have beaten this level using this strategy twice.

aha, I wish I would have been allowed to try and fight that last mass of inviso-tanks. I had the island surrounded by a bunch of battleships and blimps.... I feel like I would have raped them...

As these guys have said, the power of the Spartans give you a nice feeling of power but don't overdo it. The enemy has way more units. Keep your Spartans on the defensive and aim for the tanks that take more one hit to destroy. Don't bother with the long range weapons until the end, even though they are annoying.

the invisible tanks are the easiest things to kill.....please stop crying about them. only problem i see is things die but next round they're still glitched there in the way. please fix

Comparing this game to Advance Wars, the main thing I notice is how stuffy this game is. It takes itself far too serious.
By all flash game standards this is a fantastic achievement and really a great game.
But comparing it to Advance Wars, its really missing something that made that game great.

I found the old friend, but had to quit in the middle of that secret mission. I played the bonus map again and was unable to "re-open" the secret... Shucks.

I lost the Halo Wars map the first time, but on the second one I did it with all 4 spartans left at the end. Just use the mountains to get away from enemies and keep repairing your harmed units while using the fresh ones.

from HGunner70 "trust and dont under-estimate your spartans and enemies! even thought the "one shot, one kill" is working at the Spartans, some enemy units can handle that. So take time to heal your spartans" this was really helpful its the way i got the ticket

i think i might have already commented on this game when it came out. anyway, this is like shitter advance wars. it's the idea of advance wars except i have to sit at my computer. and you think maybe it'd be more functional on the computer, but it's not. give me the DS version any day. i'm a big advance wars fan and i'm not sure if this game really does it justice. 3/5
