i got all the badges in one day except the campaign one. I've been been trying to do the whole thing on hard, but the mission blindfold! Ugh!

A nice little Advance Wars-esque game. Good game play, though the AI is pretty much a one-trick-pony.
4/5, I enjoyed it.

Never played advance wars so I don't have that to cloud my judgment. I think it's a very solid game and much more polished then most of the crap out there. 5/5

there is a bug that it takes a very long time for the computer to end its turn. after it has finished all its moves it just sits there and waits.

To all those comparing it to the original AW on GBA and DS - of course it's better... It's a huge team behind the scenes to make better graphics, better dialogues, better sound fx and music and finetune the game to max. That's why they charge you to buy the rom - and good on them it's worth every cent. This game on the other hand is the work of 2 coders and 1 graphic artist [with additional help from musicians and other artists] - and it's done in flash [which cuts speed and special effects down to a minimum]. BUT... You get to play it for free

lol, AI is so stupid, it has 5000$, 2 warfactories and is not buying anything. And you call this "hard" difficulty. I would give 5/5 but this is too easy so 3/5

You are welcome to play AW and give this one a miss - your choice - but there a lot of people who do enjoy the game and the fact that it is for free...

I loved Advance Wars, and I love this.
Missing things:
- Map editor
- Online Multiplayer
- More colors for the units (green, orange...)

I've noticed several issues with the game. And sadly, I've only played through boot camp and the bonus map.
First off, computer has an advantage, they are able to create a unit, and then act with that unit immediately. Whereas the player cannot. Also, the computer likes to just abandon all hope after a while, I seriously killed 39 units of his, and he ran around the entire map in a blimp before landing and taking an air strike. All the while he had 2 factories, and well over 2k in his bankroll.
Another small note: Raptor Fighters are pretty OP. There was absolutely no way I could fend more than one or two off at a time on the bonus map. The enemy merely swarms you with them, and you have a hell of a lot of trouble. Fortunately, the AI also likes to ignore sea combat to focus it's efforts on Raptors.
Overall, this is a good game, a few small balance issues perhaps, and a couple of bug fixes, and I would give it a 5/5, but until then, 4/5.

Impressive yet addictive game 4/5, well done games with strategy like this are scarce. I encourage you all to try this game :-)
