Nice game, no saving issues at all since I don't block flash cookies and I use Firefox. I don't understand why the kids are whining. I liked it.

Seriously, like the first two chapters, you can't save, so you have to beat the entire game in one sitting. And when it lags and freezes, then you have to restart... it's a great game, but because of the whole saving issue 2/5.

I hate this. i tried completing 3 times. each time i save, the next time i open this window to continue, it reverts back to level 1!! FK!!..and lvl 10 lags me....made my internet crash...then now i hav to restart!!!!!!!!!

ame as the other. by which i mean its alot of fun, but also not really anything too new. im not sure if i would of played it if it wasnt for the badges. but like i aid i was fun just like the others

heh, forxy, I don't pretend to be a geek, in fact, in Battalion: Arena, I'm barely a mid-level player. However, I had no problems completing the campaigns at all, or level 4.

Signed up ''JUST'' to say thanks!! found ep1 on another site came here for the bonus map (kongret owe you urban!) ... now played all 3 and loved all 3 ... my fav online single play game so far!! kudos!!
Honestly hope not the end! it rocks!!!!! (the last 2 were computer heavy big time but #3 was way less laggy/crashy and its a 50/50 between number 1+3 for fav (1 wins i guess due to no mem issue and no faults - 3=updates and min mem issue)

i beat the bonus map, the one in the top left in main menu, twice and it still does not register. Did not have a problem with the other two badges...Is there some kinid of extra option you need to check/uncheck for that map??

to make it clear: just move the rocket launchers close to the hills and shoot over the hills, from time to time computer leaves or moves his bases (war factories) on the areas that are in your range, it was quite easy, you need just 2 launchers on each side of the mountains or so

level 5 on hard: kill his spiders, then just produce some Rocket launchers and eventualy all his bases will be in range to get destroyed in few hits... all his annihilators will be in vain :)

it's getting annoying. i beat level 4 on hard twice now, and still no check mark. wtf? I had even refreshed my screen in between. maybe i have to restart the computer or something. arghhhh

I have completed the campaign and the bonus level.
But I didnt got the 2nd achievement, too.
Tactics:
Be as offensive as you can.
Destroy all bases first. then you have won xD

i just beat level 4 on hard. it is certainly possible. the way notled adds and clarifies to RadarKat's strategy really helped me. the glitch is that I know have been level 4 and level 5 on hard but no check marks. I AM connected to chat.

people who are saying that level 4 is impossible...
Cammander, you say that you had to wait for three hours and you still had no attack opportunities. That just shows you are about as effective as General Mcclellan of the Union during the civil war, who lacked the balls to make even the most basic of attacks.
Venture, the computer never stops producing spiders, but it does slow down after a while.
renaisauce, you can't stop the money. When there is a lull, you move, and don't retreat. Use your tanks to knock out the spiders until you can move the mortar next to the factory.
and Tiza, you're just stupid, too stupid to strategize.

Yeah, I can get a lull for one turn, but the lull isn't long enough to get both the rocket and artillery across in one piece, much less camp out long enough to take out the factory. Is there a way to stop the money from coming in?

Yep, it's not picking up the hard achievment. At least not for me. It gave a check mark to everything but the last level.

i tried that and it didnt even skip producing a spider tank for even one turn that was for 3 hours before i got too bored to continue

you have to do what RadarKat said.
Move all of your forces to the bottom of the screen, putting the rocket truck in the bottom corner, with the mortar truck in front of it. Both should be able to target the closest mountain. The spider tanks will come across the bottom, and you can take them out one by one, on that mountain. Once the enemy's money gets low, his spider spawning will reduce. You should be able to make a break for it, during the lull (after desroying the barriers with your tanks).

level 4 on hard not working for me either. I stay in the left hand side bottom of screen and they never run out of money, they just keep spamming spiders nonstop.

The way to beat level 4 on hard is to bring your artillery towards the bottom of the screen on the left hand side, have all your other pieces around it and then wait until the other side is low on money and then you can advance.
