I know this game wont be updated. But a few more thing piss me off
- Jammers are useless. Planes still fly through them and attack everything within the "area" and also anything stealth like doesn't show up like its supposed to (some dude said they would appear when going in the jammer line of sight, well they do not)
- The continue button doesn't work. Starting a mission all over again. Yippe! (sarcasm)

level 2 is just bullcrap. especially doing the hard version for the badge. 4 units that are worthless for short range, against 10 units. come on.

TritonLax_6,
you can right click to turn off effects(explosions and stuff) and then it wont freeze nearly as much. + so others can see this

This was a final, fun game in the series, but I was disappointed by the lack of difficulty. I breezed right through all 10 campaign missions on hard and didn't ever fail. The AI seems to be lacking compared to previous versions. I still had fun, but I missed the challenge from the first two versions!

An excellent game! I'm really amazed by the graphics, the balance of troops, and the game itself!
And I just want to give a tip to those who are struggling to complete the hard badge: Heavy Commando and Strike Commando can turn into Albatross Transport for free! This means that if you only consentrate on taking out the Flak Tank's and the planes, it will be really easy and cheap to make a barricade which they can't break trough! Use this to defend you warmachine, and just push the barricade forward as it suits you!
PS: Albatross Transport's are the "fastest troops" in the game, use them to came close to a turret, and crush it!

Dude i was thinking when i came into it "man i can just go play Advance Wars for the DS and i can get more" then once i got a little into it i couldnt get my self to play Advance Wars again for lack of features :D

A possible stratagy is holding back and waiting untill they run out of money and playing defencively. Build wisly and only when needed: planes can act as a barrior to some ground troops and are good against spider tanks. When a unit resives damage pull back to repair and put another one in its place...

for chap.9 just make two raptors and one condor and send them strait across the map to the two turrets ignore the enemy's units just go strait for the warmachine. use the condor to take out the turret.

this game reminds me of Advanced Wars for the DS. It is a similar game that i like, therefore, i like this game as well

This game cheats! I see people completed 4, but I have tried like 10 times and failed. Sometimes the spiders move further then it says they can and then they blow up your launcher game over.

Re: Chapter 4. If you sit still, the spiders will wave in one at a time, letting you pick them off with ranged vehicles. Do this (for a long time) until their treasury is low enough they're not producing one every turn (they still produce, just not every turn)... at this point you should be able to manage making your way along the path with at least one of your ranged, to kill the tank... all their units dead, you win.

Great game, again, but here's a suggestion... if not in use for other controls, always allow the WASD keys as an alternative to the arrows. Repeat, ALWAYS. Especially so for mouse-intensive games. Perhaps the developer is a lefty... but for those who mouse with their right hand, WASD is far more comfortable (in this case for scrolling around the map) than are the arrows.

The rating that is chosen is opinion based by Chez557 and will only be affective towards flash games in Kongregate only. Battalion: Vengeance.
I give this/these game(s) from Kongregate the rating from 1-10: 9

Really like the whole Battalion-series, reminds me of the fighting system of great RPG-games like Shining Force (SegaMD2), Vandal Hearts (PS1) or Disgaea (PS2/3). For the next title, you could thing about adding some features of these games like support from adjacent units to the attacker like in Disgaea or to the attacked unit like in Vandal Hearts as well as boni for attacking from the side/from behind (at least I haven´t noticed boni for that so far). And a last thing could be in-game awards that boosts the stats of the units like in Master of Fortress (great game here on Kongregate).
But still, this game is great. 5/5

Guys, for the love of christ, the creator specifically states that he got inspiration from "Advance Wars" in the first game. He has given credit where credit was due, and quite frankly I think he did a far better job than AW did.

has anyone ever played a psp game called field commander. this game and it are incredibly similar, just psp has a 3d map with rotating camera and different units

Almost a copy to the GBA game "Advance Wars", not only in the game system, but the aesthetic, music and concept. Shameful!

The first game of the series was way better, this one is more of a patience thing, the only feature i rlly like about this game is the lvl editor. 2/5
